We are a small guild founded in April 2008 on the basic ideals of good conversation, fine dining and violent murder of innocent animals, preferably all at the same time. We aim to be a group of friends and not a collection of cliques.

We will not tolerate demands for free stuff/kamas. We do not leech our members, although occasionally we may want level caps filled. We want our members to be able to take care of themselves rather than using others as a prop. It is our belief that the larger proportion of guild activities should be dungeons, helping with rarer drops, and most of all: enjoying each other's company.


Requirements:

- Level 80+and p2p. It can be hard for us to involve those below that, or those who don't have access to subscriber areas.
- Good grammar. If you don't know where the apostrophe is on your keyboard, don't bother. No chatspeak. 'U' isn't a word and anything involving 'plz' will get zero response. We cordially request that sentences have the correct amount of punctuation. And we can tell the difference between 'can't be arsed' and 'don't know English'. In the latter case we are willing to help.
- Maturity. Many of us are over 18, and are at university or have jobs. We are going to whine about our real lives, sex (or lack of), send weird links to each other, and enjoy astoundingly indecent sexual innuendo at times.
- Activity. We'd like to see you sometimes, yes?
- Reading 'The Lies of Locke Lamora' is not a requirement per se, but it helps.


What we have:

- Lovely paddocks: 12 and 11 slot ones in Brakmar and a 4 slot one in Koalak Mountain. Rights are given to trusted members only. My breeding programme has priority though.
- Two guildhouses: one at Castle of Amakna and in Canopy Village on Otomai. Both are open for members to rest and waste time in. Castle of Amakna chest is available for the use of guild craftsmen.
- A reasonable amount of level 100 professions, mostly thanks to TWO or maybe three lovely(?) profession whores. We love them lots. <3 We've got virtually all magusing types~!
- Pretty useless percs, but it IS great fun to defend them.
- Every Sunday afternoon and Monday evening, senior guild members are at the disposal of other members for any dungeon runs and hunts requested.
- Drunken Full Moon Dungeon runs. Yes. Well.
- The home of the one and only Team Nub. Dying in dungeons and pvp by not paying attention from the day we started playing!
- A sexeh breeding program, with cheap mounts for members of the guild.
- An awesome guild chat.

I thought the recruitment level was level 80.

The Gentlemen Bastards is in my opinion the best guild you can get into if you are level 80 to 13X. I am mainly saying this because I have been part of this guild for the last 6-7 months and without Kyth I would be at the level I am now ;-) .

I've been here a while, it's just great. The levels and officers need updating a bit though, this really is a class guild.

I've been a member for a few months now and cant praise the Bastards enough! Alot of long term members who are helpful and more than willing to take the time to sort you out. Probably the most Vile Guild chat on Shika (In a good way) As Mr.Fishpants puts it, a class guild.
