[Gear Designs] Get YOUR Ideas Noticed ! Say if you had an idea for a new hat or cape, respectively. Please share what you'd like to see come true! (:

I've got one:

"Scouter", Lvl.41(?), 50-100 Initiative(?),(Guessing petty high, since it "gets a reading" of the opponent), 40-80 Intelligence (Intelligence -- because you're knowledge of the opponent is heightened. :p), Resistance to fighters: 3-6?

Not sure if it should be Strength, or Chance. Maybe neither. Maybe sacrifice those stats, for even MORE Initiative. Thoughts?

Description: a scouter's primary purpose is to calculate the individual power level or ki concentration of biological characters. scouter's also serve the purpose of gathering information or interstellar communication.
(Feel free to spice that up, with some Ankama humor!)

Image1 (Select on bold text)
Image2

Share your ideas, and possibly get them noticed! :D
(A little personal art design may also work in your favor)

Good luck everyone, And get those ideas-a coming !

Edit : I'll be adding a reward of 100,000 Kama, to get all ball rolling. (:

i cant draw so wont bother with that, but i still have some semi-useful ideas.

Creeper

Lvl 56, +1 Mp, +30-67 Agility (good for 'creeping'), +100-200 Initiative.

Description
This antique cape was originaly designed to keep the lovers of King Allister out of harms way. Makes sneaking away in the moonlight mush easier.

Or something like that, pretty much a cape that can make you escape from close combat easier, probably good for cras or something.

How about you make an entire alignment set? they can be like super hard to earn and can only be worn by the said alignment. It can add extra effects per alignment levels, making PvP more desirable

I've done three Headgears (Dodekatheon Headgear's: Dodekatheon meaning The Twelve Olympians)
I'm planning to do the 9 others some other day, if you guys want me to though. These headgears are based on the Greek Gods therefore awesome stats but for an high level, all of them are for Level 160 maybe even higher. I've also drawn them, tell me what you think of the drawings and everything else...

1. Hermes's Headgear (Level 160)
2. Headgear of Ares (Level 160)
3. Minerva (Athena) Headdress (Level 160)

Drawing (Scanned Image): Dodekatheon Headgear's

Dofus Headgear. Like the one in the tet server, the one that the enu wears that sells dofus's exept a bit cooler. You can only get them from quests in which you must bring the two dofus's that you want to merge to some guy and he will give you anceint mats for it (Merged dofus ring(must have 100 jewler and lvl 100 jewlmagus), Merged dofus hammer(must have lvl 100 hammer smith and lvl 100 hammer magus)) I cant show you how it looks cause I dont have a scanner... Emerald and Cawwot Merged: 100-500hp, 100-500wis and 1-200+ of str, chance, agi, int. ect. lvl 200. I don't know, this was kinda random, might suck but... o well =/

A bit overpowered?^

My idea;
Tail Belt, (a normal leather belt, but it has a tail attached to it)

31-60 Agility, +1Mp, +12-20% resist air

Very good for agility classes?

(And yes I know it wont show up on your character, but if it did, this would be win!)

Rainbow Piwi Set

Requires 5 (or more, maybe up to 20 or even 30) of each piwi hat to make the headpiece, rings to make the ring, etc..

You could also win it from a new dungeon called the Piwi Dungeon.

Also, the same bird meat that drops from Tofus, should drop from Piwis, making it more worthwhile to hunt and kill piwis. Plus they would also be able to drop the new Piwi Dungeon key.

The stats on the set:
Rainbow Piwi Headgear

11-20 Intelligence

1-2 Damage

6-12 Life

Rainbow Piwi Cloak

11-20 Chance

1-2 Damage

6-12 Life

Rainbow Piwi Belt

11-20 Strength

1-2 Damage

6-12 Life

Rainbow Piwi Boots

11-20 Agility

1-2 Damage

6-12 Life

Rainbow Piwi Amulet

11-20 Wisdom

1-2 Damage

6-12 Life

Rainbow Piwi Ring

11-15% Damage

1-2 Damage

6-12 Life

Set Bonus:

5% Damage per piece

1 heals per piece

Whole set Bonuses:

100 initiative

50 Vitality

1 MP

1 AP

New Creatures:
Piwisaurus - Looks like a mix between a T-Rex and a piwi, only found in the Piwi dungeon
Has about 240 to 600 life, moves 1 to 2 spaces and casts spitment (same as boar attack, but more damage)

The Royal Rainbow Piwi - Can drop any color piwi feather and any part of the set, and is the boss of the dungeon.
Has 600 to 1000 life, moves up to 4 spaces, can heal himself and other piwis, can summon piwis, does random (1-60) elemental damage to all enemies on all sides of him

The rainbox piwi thing...basically it add all stats and that yeah? i dont think so because its similar to boone set and adventurer set, plus +AP is abit too much for low levels and if its a high level gear the bonuses will be kinda low

I was thinking like.. level 30+ required or something in that range. *shrugs* The +1 AP can go. Doesn't really matter to me. The set takes up a lot of spots so it wouldn't really be all that powerful except for certain builds.

I think a piwi dungeon would be great! It could be in the centre of astrub or something..
the new Piwi set you mentioned seems a little overpowered, lose the +1AP for sure, and some of the %damage bonuses.
I think thats a good idea. Bout time those noobs got something good!
(Rainbow Piwi monster seems a lil overpowered too 1-60 damage on a new char will own it)

Well, I have an idea for something to go in the cape slot.

"Sword Sheath"
Level Requirement: 81
Effects:

  • 15% Increase on Sword Damage
  • 50% Decrease on Rate of Sword Durability
  • -16~31 Agility
  • +7~15 Wisdom

Description: Now you can finally protect your precious sword. It's been protecting you for so long, it deserves to be protected by you!

Image 1
Image 2

You could also have Sheath's for other weapons.
For Example:

  • Bow Quiver (Cape Slot)
  • Dagger Belt (Belt Slot)

You probably won't need to make a Sheath for every weapon, I say only a Sword Sheath would be useful but, it's good to keep the public happy.

These could be crafted, you know, like a Dagger Smith could make a Dagger Belt, and you'd have to use a Twiggy Dagger as a template to base the belt around.
Or, a Shoe Maker could craft it again, using a Twiggy Dagger as a template to base the Dagger Belt around.

_

"Flaming Cloak"
Level Requirement: 147
Effects:

  • +28~47 Intelligence
  • -8~15 Vitality
  • +149~210 Initiative
  • +14~21% Resist Fire

Description: A cloak which magically burns, try not to venture through forests with this equipped though.

Well, you don't see many cloaks on fire when it comes to Google Images so I apologize.
But, it'd be animated so it would be constantly burning.

I'm not of a high level, so I don't know if these stat boosters would be correct for the required level.
I also don't know what the recipe would be, possibly something to do with Red Materia or a new drop from the "Fire Flying Spark".

You could also make different elemental capes. The air one would show a bit of gust blowing by the cloak. The water one would have the cloak bubbling. But with the Earth one, I don't know what you could do with it.

Well, those are my ideas, for now. ^_^ Enjoy.

More ideas by Mr Moss.

"Zeyov Ring"*
Level Requirement: 124(?)
Effects:

  • Makes all invisible characters and traps visible
  • -35~42 Initiative**
  • + 12~18 Wisdom(?)
  • -50~82 Strength***(?)

Description: This ring rarely blinks, how would you like to have a blinking contest with it?

Image 1

* Zeyov backwards is Voyez, which is French for "See". I thought I'd add a bit of the old French Ankama tradition.
** Trust me, you'd a bit scared too if you were wearing an eye on your finger.
*** This would be used primarily against Srams, not something to be worn as a regular piece of equipment, you'd just equip it if you're going against a Sram. So, theirs a price to pay to see Srams and their traps.

Obviously some classes have no need for this ring but..Sram's really do annoy me, especially when they Aggress me.
Also, if they wish to add another Anime based item, then they could use This Picture as a base and change the effects and description accordingly.

I've come up with an idea for a mid-high leveled int ring, due to finding that its hard to make elya's wedding ring without many friends of high level or resorting to other stat rings for stats such as vit or wis.

Dark Treechnee Ring (Lvl. 124~)

20-35 Intelligence

10-20 Wisdom

70-120 Vitality

1 Summonable Creatures

3-5% Fire Resist

-3-5% Earth Resist

Ingredients:

•150 Treechnid roots
•50 Amber
•30 Treechnid Amber
•20 Dark Treechnid buds
•15 Dark Treechnid Bark
•3 Dark Treechnid Amber
•3 Ancestral Treechnid Bark
•2 Ancestral Treechnid Amber

Just a rough idea atm, but as I say I'm fed up of either having Elya's Ring and something else or just not having any good Intelligence rings around those levels. And as I believe (first hand) that Osas need afew more summonable creatures equips around that level, I think this is a reasonable suggestion for a ring as its stats aren't over the top (could always be lowered anyway) and the mats are quite reasonable for the stats.
Anyway thats all from me for now =]
