Login server needs fixing urgently Shika of course.
Usual error message is "Too many connections". But Shika is half empty.

Nor did this fix it.

In case you didn't notice, this is the Problems & Solutions forums. The point is to post and get answers on Problems & Solutions. This is what ChoKuRei tried to do. To be honest, I don't really see how your answer was helping Problems & Solutions. All it did was insult that person for something they haven't given you any indication of doing, and for no adequetly explored reason.
If you don't like it, don't say it. I for one have never encountered this problem, and I'm sorry, but quite a few have, and the login server doesn't seem to be linked to any one server in particular. The whole of Rushu could be full and Shika not, and so the login server could be blocked up by people who don't play Shika. There have been other posts with information that you could check, other than that I can't be much help sorry.
I can remember somewhere reading that it lets in people up to about 3000 or so, then closes the login server to let it clear up and cool down, then opens up again. Other than that I dunno. What I do know, however, is that Narutobw's comments was completely uncalled for. Don't like it? Don't say it.

It's well known on Shika and has been like this for 3 days. People won't switch chars on their accounts because they know it might be 10 mins before they get back on.

I'm aware that the login servers are shared because there are often 4000+ people reported in the queue and Shika probably only has that many total accounts. I'd imagine that we share with the French though.

Seems to me that we should have our own login server though. Can't imagine Ankama are actually saving much by sharing the IPs.

There is no such thing as a login server for Shika. The login servers authenticate you for ALL servers and that is the problem. My take on the dramatically deteriorated situation is that they may have removed one or two servers and moved them to 2.0 Beta. :s

Login server is even worse today.

Took about 30 attempts each to get my 2 accounts logged. One of my guildies gave up.

At this point, it's a compensation issue.

Ankama better answer this quickly...

I have the same issue, for the past 5 or so days i have occasionally tried to connect to the server but have since stopped as im being presented with various connection errors for example : your connection to the server timed out, the connection to the server was lost as the server is recieving too many requests simultaneously please try again in a few minutes

I hope they fix this soon.

They've said that it will be fixed when 2.0 comes out. Also, Naruto, you gave the 'advice', sure, along with insults. Just give advice. I'm not trying to sound smart, it's called grammar. Use it.
