introduction+enquire hi there, everyone who doesnt just run around town and screams "OMG NOOB CHALLENGE M3!"

i started to play Dofus, like, week ago, and enjoy it really much (seems simple, but theres lot to it (esp. fights)).
i usually play wit my neighbour (im eni, his enutroff), were around lvl 18.

anyway, theres one annoying thing! i bought staff for 6kk and my neighbour bought shovel for 4kk (for us, its bunch of money:) ), and after few fight, neighbour simply lost the shovel, and then after another fight i lost my staff (and, god, we won!!!! so how is that? )

yea, sure, we ARE newbies, so could someone explain whats going on? i feel sorry for the money i spent on that staff, and still had no idea what really happened :/

Sounds like you bought ethereal weapons. Ethereal weapons have a durability that does down by 1 each fight, and disappear when it reaches 0. For the most part, ethereal weapons are junk really, and aside from a few specific ones, people don't really use them.

Don't feel too bad. This has happened to quite a few of us. I had this really nice shovel at around lvl 40 of my Enu and used it to great effect until it suddenly wasn't there anymore. Though I was aware that they disintegrate, I forgot to check. Even recently, I only just remembered to check my levelling dagger and it had 1 fight left. So I was very lucky not to miss it.

As for an Eni weapon, hen you reach lvl 20, you should have a look at Will-o'-the'wisp's Wand.
