Help me with DOFUS! Hello out there,

I just joined this morning and I don't know what to do, where to go or How I use things. Can I please have some help?

Well thats a pretty big question! I would suggest to begin with to read the introduction guide on the Dofus website - www.dofus.com - after youve read about the basics, you should do all of the quests in incarnim (the newbie area) they will provide a further intro to several aspects of the game.

Incarnim is also a great place to meet people (who you can share info with).

When your feeling confortable the Dofus players bible is the Dofus Wiki - www.wikia.com/dofus/Dofus_Wiki -

My biggest mistake on my first char was probably putting characteristic points on all stats (vit, wis, int, agi) and after a long time I got to lvl 17 and she was completely useless .

I think you should read the wiki on your particular character and go with their suggestion for the easyest build and put your points on that and if you want to try a harder one later when your more experienced you can!

I would love to go further indepth but theres just so much to Dofus I'd be here all day!!

Also you can find some help in-game by yourself, by clicking on the "?" in the top-right corner of the game world.
Right next to the "x" you use to logout, exit client, etc, etc... ^^
Theres something in there that tells you about keyboard shortcuts for the game.

Hi I will tell you a few things
1)-Dofus wiki ( http://www.wikia.com/dofus/Dofus_Wiki ) is your freind.
http://www.wikia.com/dofus/Experimental_Builds .. try a few of those and it will help you a bit

2)-Use of stats
1 Str = 1% more earth damage
1 Int = 1% more Fire damage
1 Agi = 1% more air damage
1 Cha = 1% more cha damage
%dmg = 1%int/agi/str/cha damage
1 wisdom = 1% more xp
1 Vitality/life = 1 more vitality of course
Initiative = 1/2 vitality + Ini bonuses.

3)-The best ways of earning kamas are
-Drops
-Professions
-souling dungeon

4)-a few tips
-Stick to one character after you've tried a few
-Join a good guild if you can

Make friends, interact and get a good social network supporting you, and you will be fine

From strating on Incarnam you will recieve, what i think is the best tutorial any game can have! Talk to all of the NPC's around for help, also remember to use Incarnam chat (the star buttoin in the bottom left-hand corner changes your chat modes) to talk to other begginer players around Incarnam.

First characters are not always perfect, what I did was test out the features and see how I felt with the classe's before i made any firm choices. Took me a while but was fun!
