Agility Sacrier Allright, after going through a Sram, Iop, Eniripsa, Enutrof, Xelor, Feca and Sadida, i have finally settled on a Sacrier.
I decided to opt for the agility build because of the dodge rolls, critical hits and the range on assault. (Also, my friend Zed told me he had seen RavenCruxian fight and decided that agi sacriers had to be the ultimate class. Lol.)
Anyway, i was pretty excited about my build until i saw exactly how sickening my damage is.
Since i dont have the choice of any good agi set that gives wisdom at a lower level, i am forced to watch str Sacriers deal massive damage, while I'm stuck hitting like 20+20 at level 26!
People have suggested the tofu set, but its very hard to find, so i have to stick with the adv set for now. Once i reach 30, i thought id use the toady set and the mad tofu cloak at 36. However, I have no idea about what to do after that because the aerdala set has a lot of agi and vit but people tell me to use the kitsou set so that i can deal good damage with punishment. Others tell me to use the legendary crackler set. So im gonna need some help with that.

Also, im very confused about what to level. A high level agi sacrier(Your-nitemare I think) told me to level nimble punishment later, because buffing isn't very easy at lower levels. But i leveled up nimble punishment anyway, and now im wondering whether I'm gonna have to unlearn it sad.gif. I also leveled assault, which is the only spell im sure i have to level. Attraction is at level 3, but i don't really like the idea of pulling monsters damn close to me at this kind of level, they screw with my hp pretty easily. Dancing sword seems like a nice idea, 4 hits at level 5 I think, but the guides don't really advise it. Im also confused about sacrifice and cooperation. Basically, i have no idea about what I'm trying to do, and I'm sure you can see that I'm getting pretty desperate. So can someone help me out with the gear i have to wear from 36 onwards? Also, Im hoping Raven or Nitemare can tell me what weapon to use and what spells to level at what time.

Cheers - Rush

Sacs suck at low levels. (pun intended) tongue.gif

You will have to do the hard miles before your character can rock. The disadvantage of Sacs is that, unlike other classes, you HAVE TO dump all your points into vitality. You are a meat shield and that is not going to change all through your game life. Buffing at lower levels is indeed a bit of a hassle but then again, it is a hassle at high levels, too. When I buff a Sac that hasn't levelled Sacred Punishment, I take easily over 1000 HP from it just through buffing, despite Preventing Word being cast on it. Having said that, damage of your friends (or your dancing sword) will be lower, so you won't have to struggle as much but might still lose about 1/3 of your HP. Buffing is what makes a Sac strong and useful as a hitter. Un-buffed Sacs are great for map manipulation but not for dealing damage. So without being buffed, you will always hit weaker than the other classes, get used to it. biggrin.gif

Str Sacs hit harder but usually are a less viable build at higher levels because they can't move as freely and neither can they lock enemies to keep their comrades safe. Many Sacs start out as Str and later on change to Agi. This is an option you have.

None of my Sac friends ever spent much time in Kitsou set. Punishment is a spell that you won't cast every turn. Yet, if your set provides nothing but vitality, you RELY on being buffed. Most fights in your game life will be too short to bother with buffing a Sac. Only bigger fights benefit from you being buffed.

-------

This sounds all a bit negative for Sacs but here is something that Sacs have above all other classes (and that has been abused to death). You have the only class that can walk into every fight in full Wisdom gear and still end up with heaps of agility. If you are going into a fight where you are going to be buffed, you don't really need to wear any Agi gear to start with because receiving like 1500-2000 Agi from buffing will make your 350 Agi from set pale in comparison. At the same time, you can cast Wise Punishment and get a Wisdom bonus of 50% of your original Wisdom (scrolls + gear). You can cast Bold Punishment and have a ton of Prospecting (through high Chance). Or cast Sacred Punishment and spells like Eni's Preventing Word will make you more or less invulnerable for a couple of turns.

You have some really cool spells and a buffed Sac really is quite something. But it is a long and hard road. smile.gif
