Contact an In-Game Moderator Rushu and Rosal have had a "contact an in-game moderator" thread for a while, now it's Shika's turn. This thread is going to be an attempt to help out the players and the moderators connect with each other. However, there will be VERY strict rules about this thread to avoid breaking the rules of this forum. If it works, yay for all of us. If it doesn't work, and people can't stick to the rules, it will be closed.


Read the following VERY CLOSELY before posting. Posts in violation of these rules will be deleted without an answer.

Things you can use this thread for:
  1. Asking a moderator to come online and free you if you get stuck somewhere. Moderators can only teleport players to 0,0, so take this into account. If you are stuck in a fight, a moderator will not be able to free you without removing you from the server, causing the same effect as a voluntary disconnect.
  2. Asking a moderator to come online and speak with you about a scammer, spammer, botter, or cheater. If you wish to make this kind of report, please have at least a screenshot of this behaviour that you can show the moderator, or they will not be able to do anything about your request. No moderator will ever be able to give you back items, kamas, accounts, honour, energy, life, pets, subscription fees, or subscription time. The best you can hope for is that the person who wronged you will be punished if there is enough evidence. (DO NOT POST ANY NAMES ON THIS THREAD) In the case of spammer bots, you may report the map co-ordinates, but do not report a name.
  3. Asking a moderator to come online and speak with you about a harassment or abuse. If you wish to make this kind of report, please have at least a screenshot of the harassing behavior to show the moderator. (DO NOT POST ANY NAMES ON THIS THREAD)
  4. Asking a moderator to come online to kick an abusive merchant. If you wish to make this kind of request, you can give the map co-ordinates and the type of abuse (blocking exit/NPC, holding place with blatantly overpriced item, etc), but DO NOT POST ANY NAMES ON THIS THREAD.
Things you can NOT use this thread for: IMPORTANT: Moderators are volunteers - they are not Ankama employees - for all issues regarding your account, send a ticket to Support.
  1. Asking about a problem on Rushu and Rosal. These forums are for Shika only.
  2. Asking questions about future updates or game content. Please ask those questions on General Discussion.
  3. Asking a moderator to change something in the game. Moderators are not developers, they cannot add features, balance classes, adjust NPC prices, or fix bugs.
  4. Asking questions about bannings or muting. Please contact support if you have been banned.
  5. Ranting at moderators for banning, jailing, or muting you. If you wish to complain about a moderator, please send a ticket to http://support.dofus.com
  6. Asking a moderator to retrieve your password for you: Moderators cannot change account passwords or see account passwords.
  7. Asking a moderator to process your P2P payment. Moderators have no control over account payments.
  8. Asking moderators for items, kamas, life, energy, honour, pets, subscription fees, or subscription time. Moderators cannot give any of these things to any player.
  9. Asking a moderator to respond to a thread somewhere on the forums. This thread is for in-game matters only, not forum matters.
  10. Asking a moderator to answer your ticket. Game moderators do not have access to player tickets and cannot respond to them or cause other admin to repond to them.
  11. Asking moderators to fight you.
  12. Asking moderators to create events. Now that there are several English GMs, they have been given the responsibility of creating events.
  13. Asking personal questions about the moderators or their characters.
  14. Asking moderators to level you. Moderators do not exist to level players with their mods or their personal characters.
  15. NAMING SCAMMERS, CHEATERS, BOTTERS, OR SPAMMERS. All naming posts will be deleted no questions asked. Do NOT post your proof here. Do NOT post names here.
Please note that most of the moderators routinely check these areas for bots whenever they have the time: Kama-Sellers: Astrub Zaap, Astrub Alchemist Sellroom, Astrub General Resources Sellroom, Astrub Bank, Astrub South Gate (and on channels) Speed-Bots: Astrub Fields, Tofu Corner, and Incarnam Please don't report bots on these maps - we check them regularly, but (considering that there are only three to five of us), the moderators cannot watch these areas 24/7 and the bots return pretty quickly after we've removed them. Please include:
  1. Your In-Game Name.
  2. Times when you can be reached in-game. (this can be Dofus time (DUT) or GMT or BST or any time zone you are in, just make sure that you note the time zone and AM or PM if you are not using 24 hour time.)
    3. [*] Nature of your moderator request.
If you do not include all of the above, a moderator will not be able to contact you. Example post: Name: ExamplePlayer Times to be reached: 18:00 DUT to 21:00 DUT on Mondays and Wednesdays, and any time between noon and midnight GMT on Saturdays Request: I'm being harassed by a player who is chain aggressing me and insulting me. I would say, i'm on all day but uhm, the servers not working, and i couldnt seem to log into the forums for about 1 week,even though i wasnt misstyping anything ;o! and i've been away on a trip too, so yeah, idk whats being going on, I'll always be on from about 8pm, if its working again (UK time) i'll be on all night also =]

Please note point 1 in the " Things you can NOT use this thread for:" list above. This forum is for Shika only.

If you go to http://www.dofus.com, there is a similar thread in the Problems and Solutions forum for international servers there. Rosal problems should be posted there.

Request: Possible farmer bot at -20,-42. Screenshots available. Not bothered if it's a player out-competing me, but this one won't respond to message or challenge which makes me think "bot".
Edit: plus the guy seems to be going through the crops faster then 2sec/plant, which I thought was the limit.

i think ive seen bots there too also ive seen them at the farmer workshop thats at the tofu dungeon entrance and ive being told they run up to bonta and make bread i also think the bots have a guild called deleted me and my friend saw a bot in this guild and ive seen them on a number of times

Request: Several players are stuck, including me, in heart of dopple getting the cant load map info message. Since no recalls or pots can be used we are black-screened stuck and cant do anything. Guessing this is due to the new update with no challenges in heart of territories. Teleporting us somewhere else will be much appreciated.

I'll be online around 6pm-6:30pm UK time, and will check for people stuck in the heart rooms then. Its possible another mod may be online before me.

Same two bots I've reported before, and both in the same guild. I have screenshots showing names, guild affiliation, private messages sent, and time.

there's more and more characters just standing anouncing websites that sell kamas. Around Astrub bank and Resources mkt they stay there all day. I think the ankama team sould do something to prevent this. It's getting worst everyday. Sometimes we can't even see the floor, because of the flood.
I have print screen, if u want me to send it. But, they're standing all day there, so u souldn't have problems to see what's happening.

Request: Merchant abuse at (26, -38). There's a ridiculously priced item which is clearly being used to hold place.

I can't get onto the log in page on the dofus site.I've tried on Mozilla and Internet explorer. I asked my friends to check if it was just me that was experiencing the problem. It happen to them too. Any Solutions?

Hi, I seem to have been banned for a very obscure reason "selling kamas for real money", i wish i had had some kamas to sell... Unfortunately, i have no way to challenge this extremely absurd accusation as the dofus support is down. I would like to know who thought i was doing this, and how? is there any way a mod can help me with this problem.

I am not a kama farmer, i have a 173 sadida named sadiefrost. i dont have an army of bots.

This has distressed me no end.

Please help.

Hi Sadie,

I had a look at your account, and there's no record of a ban on it. This means you weren't banned by a moderator or the AutoKick system.
You may have been banned by Support.

Unfortunately, this means a moderator can't help you. You'll have to contact Support. I'll add a note to my moderator report asking someone to have a look at this, but please do send a ticket.

The Anti-bot measures have gotten really radical lately and what happened, is that you probably shared an IP with a bot, or was on the wrong map at the wrong time and was mistaken for one... I apologize for that.
Since Support is closed, I lifted the ban on your account.

Hello, I've encountered the same problem as couloumbers. I and my five characters were all banned, all without reason. As stated I've been unable to contact support via the ticket system.
I nor any of my characters are kama farmers. The character belonging to this account is Quicktank, 150 sac, the other four are, Eta 168 Sadida, Dacheat 169 Eni, creeds-devil 130 Iop, Shuranthae 119 Pandawa.

Contact information, can be contacted on ankama records, or PM dacheat via Imp's village forums.

I'm afraid I've had the same problem, banned without a legitimate reason. The same excuse, 'Selling Kamas for real Money'. I am not a kamas farmer and never have been. As with Onwaban and Couloumbers I also cannot get in touch with support.

The character banned is Merth: 143 Ecaflip

I should be on Ehergiz: 133 Enutrof if needed to be contacted. Times are sketchy as I have a hectic social life but around 9pm GMT onwards is the best bet.

I've asked kaoly to look into these cases too. As I noted before, there's nothing a moderator can do.

Kaoly, thankyou for unbanning, these measures really are strict. I had sent a ticket but obviously you can close that now.
Maybe your programmers can find a different way to find bots rather than just looking for large groups accessed by the same IP address in a single fight.

Measures i tend to take involve opening a bwak egg on the map that i have found bots on (thanks cheat) which cant be attacked ny the bots, but they try anyway, they just chase the bwaks around unable to kill them until the bwak becomes rogue. This keeps the bots visible so we can screenshot and post on the forums.

Anyway, thanks for the unban, im all happy again ^^
