Starting with Owlin Mad First, Owlin Mad. He gives a Medium Scroll of Agility, but says a small one (according to the wiki, I haven't checked this one out in game).

Community Site: Profession Section
Staff Carver>>The profession>>Repair a staff: It talks about preparing meat.
Hammer Smith>>The profession>>Forge a hammer: "When you arrive at one of the Smith's Workshops on Pandala Island": There are only Shield Smith workshops in Pandala

Back in game:
Dragoturkey: How to Breed your mount: Page 4: "They're not as stupid as Iop!" should perhaps be "They're not as stupid as Iops!"

About NPCs: I don't even know what "localised" means, but all I did was point out that some NPCs hadn't had their names translated. I was using them as an example to show that not everything needs it's name translated.
Oh, and that Translation:Improvements thread? Some of them are old (Dhyn Ring becomes Soff Ring). Also, this seems rather strange: Barley Sugar Flour becomes Sweet Barley Flour and Flour of Barley Sugar becomes Sweet Barley Flour. I've only heard of the second one. Also, Trooll Fair ball becomes Trooll Fair Snow Globe, Trool Fair only has 1 L. You also didn't mention area name changes, and we've been finding quite a few. But thank you for pointing me towards that thread (even though I already knew about it).

NPC: Altaïr: When you speak to him at the end of the Gobball Dungeon, he has a doubled letter in one word. I'm not sure which one off-hand, though, because the word is spelled correctly on the wikia, just not in game. EDIT: Ah, the word was successffully.

Hi Oamoka,

Owlin Mad says he gives Small Agility Scrolls, but as you point out, he gives Agility Scrolls instead, so I've corrected his dialogue.

I'll let the web team know about the mistakes on the community site.

Books are slightly more difficult to correct than other text in-game. All of them are currently being worked on; mistranslations fixed, etc. etc. and they will be ready for Dofus 2.0. I'll have a look at the book you mention - without seeing the context it might be referring to Iop the god, rather than the class, but I've made a note of the text and will check it as get to that book.

The Trool Fair Snow Globe mistake is in the text of the post rather than in-game. I've checked in-game and I've got 'Trool Fair Snow Globe' and 'Trool Fair'. I'll amend the post now.

I've corrected the spelling mistake in Altaïr's dialogue.

With regards NPC, I think it's more appropriate for names that are obviously French puns, or anagrams of French words, to be localised, to give them more meaning to non-Francophone players. Some of the NPC really didn't work as they were - Hourax Hipipe being a case in point. The intention is that the new dialogues are more interesting for anglophone players - I promise I'm not just changing things to give you more work to do on the Wiki wink.gif

Cheers,

HP

Hi Oamoka,

I've added the names of the areas that have changed to the "Translation - Improvements" thread. Looking at the Wiki, I think you've already picked most, if not all, of them up already, but thanks for reminding me to do so. smile.gif
