Second-in-command...?
Way way back, the ranking "Second-in-command" used to be known as "Officer". For some inexplicable reason, it was changed from something that made perfect sense to what we have now. It makes zero sense to use the rank "Second-in-command" for all of my officers, and the other ranks near the top (Treasurer, Protector and the like) don't make sense either. I'm hoping that the rank's name can be changed to something that actually makes more sense.

Hi InuzukaKiba,
Thanks for your post. The French equivalent in-game of "Second in command" is "Bras Droit", which, more accurately, means "Right-hand man". I could change "Second in command" to be "Right-hand man" (or just "Right-hand", to avoid using 'man' when people don't find it acceptable), but, as Alyss-Sin suggests, there are people who would prefer to be "Second in command", rather than "Officer". I can't see a French rank that would translate to "Officer" in English, so perhaps it was removed or changed in the French when the new ranks were added a while ago. As for the other ranks not making sense, I've checked them all in French, and their English translations are correct, and accurate: A l'essai - On Trial Meneur - Leader Bras Droit - Second in Command Trésorier - Treasurer Protecteur - Protector Artisan - Craftsman Réserviste - Reservist Larbin - Dogsbody Gardien - Guard Eclaireur - Scout Espion - Spy Diplomate - Diplomat Secrétaire - Secretary Pénitent - Penitent Boulet - Nuisance Déserteur - Deserter Bourreau - Torturer Apprenti - Apprentice Marchand - Merchant Eleveur - Breeder Recruteur - Recruiting Officer Guide - Guide Mentor - Mentor Elu - Chosen One Conseiller - Counsellor Muse - Muse Gouverneur - Governor Assassin - Murderer Initié - Initiate Voleur - Thief Chercheur de trésors - Treasure Hunter Braconnier - Poacher Traître - Traitor Tueur de familiers - Pet Killer Mascotte - Mascot Tueur de Percepteur - Perceptor Killer If you would like more ranks to be added, they would first need to be created in the French client, and then translated. As this isn't a typo or spelling mistake issue, perhaps you could make a topic in the "Game Development" section with your suggestions, which would allow other people to have input as well.
