[Paddock]
Not sure if message appears when you're not on a mount, but...
When you buy a Paddock, it has a red error message claiming "This perceptor doesn't belong to your guild" While we're on the topic, shouldn't 'perceptor ' be capitalized ? If so, it's uncapitalized in the guild customisation 'Place a perceptor ' -Cato |

Perceptor isn't a proper noun, there's no reason for it to be capitalized anywhere that isn't the start of a sentence.

Hi CatO,
Thanks for your post. I've tried to replicate this problem but I don't get the red message when I do so. I know it's when you're attempting to buy a paddock that you see it, but could you confirm if it's when you're attempting to buy a paddock that already belongs to you, a paddock that belongs to another guild, or an empty paddock? Thanks HP |

This message appears when you buy a paddock from another guild and also it appears when someone buys a paddock from your guild. All on-line guild members see it.
Don't have information about other cases. In any case, what this message means? I went through a paddock deal recently and in both guilds people were asking questions about the message as no one got it. |

Hi Nikto,
Thanks for clearing that up. It sounds like a bug. I've checked the translation of the message and it is correct - the French equivalent is "Ce percepteur n'appartient pas à votre guilde". There doesn't appear to be any reason why it should be displayed though - you could almost understand it if their were 'turkeys in the Paddock before you attempted to buy it, I guess - but to me it sounds like something we should let lichen know about. Thanks for bringing it to our attention! Cheers, HP This post has been edited by HarvestPale: 20 Oct 2009, 13:23 |
