Is the 1.29 Beta Server closed? Heya. Was just wondering if anyone has had any trouble logging in lately to the v1.29 Dofus Beta server. I was kind of fearing the closing of the test server, as I thoroughly enjoy playing my characters there rather than the real server for a cavalcade of reasons. A few moments ago I tried logging in, and the result was this:


For a brief moment followed by an invalid log-in/password message. Of course I freaked out at first, tried my password over and over until I was positive I put in the real password. Then I tried logging in the real server and it worked just fine. Clicking "Advanced Options" and going to "Access Test Server" gives me a "This client requires Dofus v1.29 to access. Please download the v1.29 patch and try again" when I log in even though I've updated to 1.29. Is this just a temporary thing, or can I no longer access the test server as of this moment? Thanks in advance.

Got the same problem. Waiting the whole day now to log but keep failing lol
Think its just a little problem, that will be fixed tomorrow morning.
And hope it doesnt reset xD Made panda there and is lvl 198 now lal XD

Anyway Waiting line is 110.000 already XD

It was doing this yesterday to right when i got up for about 2 hours (and going on and off backup mode) i think maybe the server crashed or something

I got some info off the French forum. Supposedly, this is a bug that happened three days ago too. None of the moderators on the French forum have a clue what's going on and are handing out sanctions like hotcakes to people who are complaining. The bug a few days ago lasted several hours, so I guess we can hope this will be resolved soon.

Why should the 1.29 testserver still be up when the official 1.29 is already implemented and no more further test are needed?

Maybe they are testing something else? or fixing more bugs?
anyways there is about 2 or 3 times the players on the test server then there are on the normal servers that alone should tell them to leave it up even if they are not testing

maybe they're using the resources to run Dofus 2.0's beta, which is a test of its own.

Or maybe because they know people love the Test server much more then the real servers..
Like me and many others get p2p Just to play on This server XD

And because of that subjective impression you claim it for a fact, that the test-server has 3 times higher population as (for example) Jiva or Rushu.

Updated news from the French forums. The 1.29 Test Server is officially closed until further notice. And by that, I do mean, that the next test will most probably be the 2.0 Open Beta. Poo, I know.

Hey Shriv, Mr-Towelie here, and this not being able to log the test server thing is killing, am trying out a sram and dying just to use it. this is a catastrophe some would say x]

Well ive never been in Jiva because im not french but when it takes 30mins to get on a test server and another 15min just to get in a dung then another 5 to get a fight because its so full i think that would make it a fact unless Jiva is packed like that (and i don't think it is) and i know Rosal isn't as i was on yesterday and there wasn't that many people on no where close to what the test server had atleast

Ota was a bit packed but not like test server either

When you start playing on the test server, you should know that it will close once the update goes live. If you want to get free money and items, you are playing the wrong game. In fact, you shouldn't be playing any multi-player games at all... On the other hand, you could put a little effort in, and have fun on a normal server.

But anyway: test servers are tests, when nothing needs testing, they shut down.

Hey Shriv, Its Me Arunk ... Whats Happened With The Test Server o.o ... Im Sure Its Coming Back There Was Just A Bug/Virus On It.

Thats Absolute Rubbish, Theres Always Been A Test Server (I Think :S) And There Always Will Be A Test Server.
