Moon island is supposed to be a desolate area protected by monsters, you might decide to look at putting weeds more around, especially around the trees and poles.
The Gobball Dungeon has some shading issues. Even though the shade will show around the outside of the building, some light can pass through the leaves and leave a slight shine on the inside rift along the roof tiles. Sufokia's house has no shading on the wall around the coo-coo-clock. The Pandikaze Dungeon is off the ground, but the perspective of the ground is off. Everything on the ground should be perspective from a top side view. You did a great job on it anyways, Keep at it. |

im kinda curious, because so much is being revamped and looking at the images of some of the dungeons - will none/some/all maps in the dungeons be changed?

Economic problems...You should make an auction house or something similar to it.Also try to smash all bots because it's annoying.Graphics are nice, don't make it 3d,because in 3d turn based game will look stupid a little bit.Make some more things to change in game, like adding addons (like in WoW lol xD).Try to write lvls on areas if addons are too hard to make.

The one thing I haven't seen anyone comment on yet and is going to develop into being such a huge annoyance to most players is the fact that the chat box seems to only display 4 lines of text. This is a shocking development - because even how things stand at the moment there isn't enough lines!
How many times a day do you find yourself toggling the various chat channels in order to follow a conversation? Me? If there is a good convo going on I'll find myself toggling the channels at least 10 in your average fight. Scroll bar? Its useless. |

By the looks of the victory in that fight is there a max amount of drops a person can get from a fight now or will it work like the old version where you scroll over a toggle button that shows you everything you have dropped in words instead of pictures?

I would assume that the chat box would be similar to wakfu, where you can change the chatbox's size yourself. Im with you here, when my guild gets busy i need fifteen lines to read everything being said XD By the looks of the victory in that fight is there a max amount of drops a person can get from a fight now or will it work like the old version where you scroll over a toggle button that shows you everything you have dropped in words instead of pictures? It looks like it will display like four times as many items as the current system, the only time i can see anyone dropping 36+ items in one fight would be on some perc fights, and even then, like one or two more. |

i herd dofus 2.0 we randomly get emails to test it out , i hope this is true , id love a chance to test this out . to be onist id save up and buy a paddock , if i was lucky anoth to get an email , btw the 20th of august is my birthday, and i dont live in america :S , sucks.. they should hold one in the uk next year like in decmenber beacuse i want to be able to go to some.
Edit by [MOD]adartse: Ankama is not sending out beta keys through emails. DO NOT open any email regarding Dofus 2.0. These emails are scams, and you will be robbed clean! This post has been edited by [MOD]Adartse: 20 Aug 2009, 11:03 |

Be VEEEERY careful with those emails. As far as i know, Ankama is ONLY giving out beta keys to peple who visit the conventions, and nobody else. I know of several cases of people sending out emails that look like Ankama's, but lead you to a site that is there to steal your account and password. So, remember to always have a firewall and antivirus running if you get an email from Ankama, check who sent it, and check the address bar. Scams like this rely on people being too excited to pay attention, so be very cool headed, and remember that it is unlikely for ankama to pick random people for the closed beta. |

Explain to me how a firewall and an antivirus would help in the above mentioned case? If you DO make a mistake and en up at a site that, instead of trying to get you type in a password, asks you to download something (missing plugin that turns out to be a keylogger/other form of malware is the classic), it helps to have some protection. |

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT open any email regarding Dofus 2.0. These emails are a scam to gain access to your account and rob you dry. We have recieved reports of this happening. Be forever doubtful of anything that sounds too good to be true. If one little thing is odd, you can almost be certain the entire thing is a farce. Dofus 2.0 Keys are not emailed to you, you gain them by attending the convention. There are no "Surprise, you won/get a Dofus 2.0 key" emails going out by Ankama. Just dont do it. Ankama is not responsible for replacing any lost accounts or gears. My bet is that they'll reuse the old kwismas island idea for the third time (not that it's a bad seasonal event, I loved it the last two times) and will release 2.0 when kwismas ends, i.e. early 2010.

What about then when the keylogger/malware is undetectable. There is no such thing like undetectable keylogger/malware. But the user or the program can be unable to detect them due to the lack of competence. Though even if it's the case monitoring of the traffic can help. All malware comes from the certain places (except worms, probably). And your risks to get some are lower if you avoid these places. Also it's good to monitor all your traffic (incoming and more important in case of malware outcoming) and not to use IE. But the best protection will be switching to Linux/Mac OS X, you'll have very low chance to get any malware that can work on these platforms and they are much more protected (no auto-launching, better permissions system and so on). Dofus isn't that popular and not interesting for general malware developer. So with the 99% probability you can get harmed only if you open dofus related messages, go to an unknown dofus related site offering some suspicious deals or fishing site. All these are very easy to avoid if you pay a little attention to what you are doing. |

Undetectable as in your current version of av/firewall does not detect script X as harmful material. Ever heard of computer to computer attacks? Back doors for example? Or viruses that disable your firewall/av, your advice is good but still there is no way to avoid everything.

It can be prevented with outcoming traffic monitoring, not working in admin account, and switching to Unix-based system. And the best way to avoid a very special attention which is certainly required if we talk about back doors is to use social methods of prevention. You know, like if you write in your personal details for instant messenger that you are white male 30-40 years old with no profession and living in the middle of nowhere the quantity of spam reduces drastically (unfortunately, usually it ends with only 1 type of spam... I guess you know what I mean).
But I got your point, for regular computer user it can be a huge problem. |

Anyway, what i dislike is that the french players get such a good demo, and a month or so later, the german players only get incarnam. Why's that? |
