Whoa.... I just read all the pages, might have skipped a few, but I was looking for particular comments, made by me! When I was a F2P and when I argued with dozens of P2P's...
One day, when I was at the Crackrocks square (F2P of course) I suddenly got a nervous break down and I said, that's it - I'm getting a month's worth of P2P.... ended up getting a Year long P2P... *cough*... Nonetheless - Not the point. The point is, me and my friend liked Dofus a lot, and we wanted more and I did something about it. I made us both P2P, I made her P2P because she was too stubborn to do it... She was also one of those "Naaah, I'll level at crackrocks!" people. Can't say the same now... Conclusion: You start, you explore, something catches your eye, your impressed, you get P2P, you get full access... Koalas caught my eye when I was doing the Unguided Tour quest.... later on they killed me in a shot, but it was worth it! Besides, with Dofus 2.0 coming out in a month or so, no matter how bored you are because you've seen it all, everything just becomes way more fun! For me at least. Im p2p now and i still think f2p need more contend... The smallest thing they can do is atleast make higher lvl border at asturb market -.- ... and as some one said bigger chaffer mobs (or better spawn time) .... amkana may loose ALOT of future subscribers if they dont boost dofus f2p ALITLE... my fr got bored at the game and i think he was ready to pay but he thought dofus wont get better if hes p2p ... i told him it will.... but he wasnt shure so he jumped to WoW becose everything (exept a cool server) is f2p :/

A little? Just a little? F2p just got a new content ,which is becoming brakmar, and still need a little more? So should ankama just keep adding little by a little every day, week, month or year until they can't add anymore? Is it little then? -xdark-osamodax This post has been edited by thisgameizfun: 1 Nov 2009, 18:55 |

Also the whole point of the f2p area is so people can play a LITTLE bit of the game, just enough to gain an appreciation of it. The people who don't suscribe, usualy are people who take advanatage over the fact they can at least reach level 40. OR they can't afford dofus, OR they just don't like the fact you can fight flowers, and/or the gameplay. The level 40 f2ps are gonna remain in the game, for longer, now that brakmar is avaiable to them. |

OH MY GOD, THEY'RE GOING TO HAVE 1% MORE TO PLAY OUT OF THE 4% THEY HAD BEFORE.
THAT WILL DEFINITELY HINDER MY SUBSCRIPTION FOR 95% MORE CONTENT. BECAUSE NOW I HAVE TO THINK THAT I WILL BE GETTING LESS THAN THE LARGE SUM THAT I HAD BEFORE AND THE LARGE SUM THAT I ALSO HAVE NOW. And GAMEIZFUN, you EXAGGERATE, by A LOT. We're talking a mini addition to f2p content in a span of what? 2 years? This post has been edited by Mohanus: 2 Nov 2009, 19:39 |

If f2ps were made easier to get to level 50, because amakama gave them an extra mob, I wouldn't complain Mohanus. Hes not over eaggerating, actualy. PvP is the main reason people suscribe. I know its probably only 1% more content, but its the content that attracts the most to suscribe. I suscribe just so I could get brakmar, we said that a thousand times, I know, but it is the truth.

Just because they got a little amount doesn't mean it has no effects at all. F2p get new content they get bored they want more and what they say is they only want little and so on, the same thing will forevermore repeat. -xdark-osamodax This post has been edited by thisgameizfun: 3 Nov 2009, 00:34 |

I go with Sinomate there. If the dev team would give the F2P new content, it *should* attract them into being P2P, like new events. Giving PvP to them, however, is overkill, this coming from someone who once argued for more F2P content once. Ankama would do well to remove the said feature.
By the way, I'll reinforce my point that I stressed on my earlier post. I'd bet you that less than a tenth of the F2P population would actually bother going around hundreds of maps to see what they're missing, and this is where a sort of exploration quest comes in. Ankama can learn this from Jagex's Runescape, in which its helicopter feature for F2P's, set right in a very much traveled location, worked very well in reaping more subscribers for their game. |

Im not demanding for more, but the game needs to change, or improve, even from f2p's eyes, as I said on this page(read it) 2.0 fixes this though. So no new content for f2ps need to be added for a while. But they will eventualy need a change or slightly more, to keep them from quiting. Don't forget some people are in bettween p2p and f2p because they are not rich(like me). They get to suscribe once in a while. As I said giving them PvP is overkilled. Also if you gonna give f2ps any more content, balance it out, by giving p2p more. And the helicopter idea does sound good.

Ankama does not care whether you are able to subscribe or not so long as you do subscribe. Your current ability to afford P2P matters nothing to them. They care about making the money and nothing more. They also don't care if a f2p quits. They haven't subscribed for months at a time then they don't ever plan on subscribing Like I posted in another thread 7 bucks is all it takes for a month of p2p. |

Er or more like a mining cart system (since helicopters dont exist in amakna ^^) It could bring f2pers into spectator mode with random fights and such. |

Good Idea Phats
Some people are extra careful about the games the suscribe too. Asturb is the same as it was like 2 years ago. They see no changes they go Wow this game is boring If over a span of 6months, a new mob, or a changed mob, appears, they'll go awesome. Eventualy they'll suscribe. Call me a noob, if you won't I don't care. Besides they already have a soultion to this, it is 2.0. But it won't be new forever, just bare that in mind amakama. But I can't Stress on how stupid it was to give f2ps PvP lol |

ok ... actualy i think the only thing that f2p must get is SPECTATOR MODE nomather where they are -.- dont u think Yes because they get to see: -How fun it is. -The drops players get. -How much xp the players get. By getting a good view of the subscriber's advantage non-subscriber will most likely want to subscribe so they can get the same thing subscribers do. -xdark-osamodax This post has been edited by thisgameizfun: 8 Nov 2009, 21:26 |

Ankama does not care whether you are able to subscribe or not so long as you do subscribe. Your current ability to afford P2P matters nothing to them. They haven't subscribed for months at a time then they don't ever plan on subscribing Like I posted in another thread 7 bucks is all it takes for a month of p2p. Well they care to the degree that they are offering various methods to become P2P for a region. Though if they only offer pay by phone and you dont have a phone its not their fault. However if the majority of people living in this region only have access to a form of payment not offered by Amakna then they should care enough to change that. Alyss-sins amakama doesn't care true, but these fourms are for disscussion wheather they read it or not You werent denied your right of discussion. Yes because they get to see: -How fun it is. -The drops players get. -How much xp the players get. By getting a good view of the subscriber's advantage non-subscriber will most likely want to subscribe so they can get the same thing subscribers do. -xdark-osamodax Actually I think thats a good idea. I totaly agree whit my self and Thisgameizfun D'OH. Anyway they wont read this and I cant figure what you are saying after ":D" |
