ROLLBACK. So, last night, before these "problems" i had been walking around pandala with a friend, for about 3 hours. We had caught 11 souls of holy bambooto, one of which had a double holy. he had gotten a level and a half, and I had gotten from 47% to about 9x%, not that big but still.

So anyway, I log in today to find I had gotten a tempus bloomus. "oh, nice," is what i was thinking, untill i realised all my xp, and soul stones were GONE! 3 hours of being bored out of my mind, for NOTHING!

AND, to make it WORSE, i didnt even get my empty stones back ~.~

any similar problems? rant here ^.^

~~~~ Nothing to extreme, don't want to be banned, now do we?
i was at drop hunting those 3 hours with 222PP got lots of expensive mats
i think ankama should give much more than just a little flower as compensation his worth ridiculous comparing to 3 hours of play lost. we do deserve to have full Compensation Gift to get back what was lost
... and what, exactly, do you consider "full compensation" for a mere three hours lost?
Man, who are all these people who come out of the woodwork after a rollback? "In the span of two hours, I got thirty-seven levels, fifteen million kamas, all new equipment, and three Dofuses, and now it's all gone!"
I said "Compensation Gift"
do i really need to explain more? dry.gif
http://www.wikia.com/dofus/Compensation_Gift
ankama can check that i had played during 3 hours and i do have 222PP trust me they can approximate really good how much drops can i have. and btw i paying for this game and if company have any problems that hurts the costumer i want good compensation for it and not little candy what they think we are babies????
can you honestly tell me do you really think that this little candy good compensation for mid to high lvl characters? or you just happy to see how other players get $%%# and you had the luck not to play that time. i think i got your real reason for such post.
"who are all these people who come out of the woodwork after a rollback" - You so sarcastic person. Those people are players who had played during those hours and lost a lot of exp or money/drops.
the thought that in two hours you could gain 37 levels while simultaneously coming into possession of 15mk is outrageous and impossible. to gain 37 levels in 2 hours you'd presumably have to be a rather low level character, in which case you'd be in no position to gain 15mk.
So, for three lost hours, you want a compensation package that was created for when the game was down for a week? I didn't realize that "three hours" and "one hundred and sixty-eight hours" were the same amount of time.
As for my (admittedly-exaggerated) litany of what people claim to have lost, there's this guy, who comes close:
Only five hours of game data was lost, so how did you lose 12 hours of work?
I don't find it a lot of drops/xp for 12 hours. And then again you seriously shouldn't play that much.
Schmendrick: While I do get your point, you should keep in mind that just too often items don't only get rolled back, but eventually a person is left without both the items and the money originally paid for it. It quite sucks if you decided to change build that day and put all your stuff in the sellrooms. Or even only a few, or any other kind of pricey item. Especially if you live the Vida Broka.
In the past I have experienced more roll-backs, in which plenty of this hassle happened too. I put something for sale, it sells and the day after my item is back in my inventory while the kamas I had got for it did not go back to the original owner but simply stayed in my inventory. Nice for me, shit for the other person. Nothing could be done about it, it didn't seem to be doable for the support. I don't remember when it was, but I do know a crapload of people were victim of similar happenings.
Glitches like that should seriously be dealt with.
On the other side, I personally wouldn't get as upset about the xp. Fine, get it back another day, shit happens. The candy should speed it up (I fail at leveling anyways 8D).
Roll back always stinks. Its like winning the lottery and suddenly the guy takes it back cuz he accidentally gave it to the wrong guy. I admit i didnt do anything during the 5 hours of rollback except feed my pets, But some people did. For better or for worse, Those people have a right to be miffed about playing for nothing.
Im on pacific time i think and i hardly lost anything. Just a pet with 1 less feeding ^^
Any сompany has a point in a contract about force majéur. And blackout is qualified as force majéur as there was nothing Ankama could do to prevent it from happening. In circumstances like this company can legally make no compensation at all as there is no fault of the company in breaching of obligations.
Grow up and stop crying.
99% of people that say its nothing, haven't play that time and lose nothing so i dont think they opinions may really counts. thisgameizfun perfectly prove my point. i played enough games to understand what is really good service this is the most exploded game with bots, the servers slow down in f2p zones and now we all see that the backup system and the servers themselves completely unreliable.
its so sad that people who lost nothing to selfish to admit that the little candy is not compensation but a kind of not funny joke. why should you care about? its common that people like that others have bad times they laughing at them and point a finger hahahaha you get %*&*% and i not!!!
Heh. "Time is money", huh?
So if you hired someone, and they worked for $10 an hour for three hours and then demanded $1680 as payment, you'd pay it happily because "time is money"?
I guess I'm just "too young" to understand why you think three hours = a week.
Uhm, what about backup-power-systems?
Every server-hoster (!) would have one or two backup systems to prevent themselves against power-offs. Well, every normal company. An IT-company without backup-systems is more than incompetent.
ok and how much virtual compensation cost to ankama? i guess 0$
if you agree at contract for 10$/hour its your problem. i talking about one thing and you go to another. there is huge different between employee and costumer. employee must give the service that's what he gets the payment for and the costumer pay for his service . ankama fail big time for supplying poor service and if they have a little self respect they should at least give compensation to keep costumer satisfied and not a cheap candy i even not talking about option for 20 Eniripsa's Powder which is very bad joke of ankama.
Since when Ankama is a hosting company?
Also as far as I know Ankama makes backups of all the servers at least 2 times a day.
What I really don't understand is that why people demand premium service from the cheap company. Why they don't complain about poor service provided by cheap airline but they demand Google level security and protection against everything including apocalypse from Ankama?
Lol? Someone quit over a rollback? What, are they level 12 instead of 13?
If Ankama over-compensated, markets would inflate due to the vast and sudden spring of drops due to PP candy, and the game would eventually die because everyone is suddenly leveling to 200 in 4 days, versus the current week. The option for 20 Eni Powders is NOT a joke, its quite handy to save 20kk, because compare 20 HP of a pet you never feed(which I dont) to 100 extra wisdom for 30 fights. Short of getting 30 souls half the candy is wasted in one dungeon run. Your bitching about everything you've got, and yet you fail to realize, Ankama didnt have to give you jackshit for FIVE HOURS. QQ somewhere else.
