So, for three lost hours, you want a compensation package that was created for when the game was down for a week? I didn't realize that "three hours" and "one hundred and sixty-eight hours" were the same amount of time. As for my (admittedly-exaggerated) litany of what people claim to have lost, there's this guy, who comes close: you probably to young to understand whats meaning of time, time is money and money is time. Company that respect themselves and they reputation important for them will pay twice or triple and even more for just keep the client satisfied, well you will not understand that till you grow up |

Any сompany has a point in a contract about force majéur. And blackout is qualified as force majéur as there was nothing Ankama could do to prevent it from happening. In circumstances like this company can legally make no compensation at all as there is no fault of the company in breaching of obligations.
Grow up and stop crying. |

I agree with Nikto though it's easy for me to say that because I played all day and lost nothing.
But anyways no matter how many times you fall you keep comming back up. Only thing everyone should cry about is if only thier friends quit such as mines because of rollback. This post has been edited by thisgameizfun: 4 Jul 2009, 02:15 |

99% of people that say its nothing, haven't play that time and lose nothing so i dont think they opinions may really counts. thisgameizfun perfectly prove my point. i played enough games to understand what is really good service this is the most exploded game with bots, the servers slow down in f2p zones and now we all see that the backup system and the servers themselves completely unreliable.
its so sad that people who lost nothing to selfish to admit that the little candy is not compensation but a kind of not funny joke. why should you care about? its common that people like that others have bad times they laughing at them and point a finger hahahaha you get %*&*% and i not!!! |

Heh. "Time is money", huh?
So if you hired someone, and they worked for $10 an hour for three hours and then demanded $1680 as payment, you'd pay it happily because "time is money"? I guess I'm just "too young" to understand why you think three hours = a week. |

Every server-hoster (!) would have one or two backup systems to prevent themselves against power-offs. Well, every normal company. An IT-company without backup-systems is more than incompetent. |

An IT-company without backup-systems is more than incompetent. Since when Ankama is a hosting company? Also as far as I know Ankama makes backups of all the servers at least 2 times a day. What I really don't understand is that why people demand premium service from the cheap company. Why they don't complain about poor service provided by cheap airline but they demand Google level security and protection against everything including apocalypse from Ankama? |

What, are they level 12 instead of 13? ok and how much virtual compensation cost to ankama? i guess 0$ if you agree at contract for 10$/hour its your problem. i talking about one thing and you go to another. there is huge different between employee and costumer. employee must give the service that's what he gets the payment for and the costumer pay for his service . ankama fail big time for supplying poor service and if they have a little self respect they should at least give compensation to keep costumer satisfied and not a cheap candy i even not talking about option for 20 Eniripsa's Powder which is very bad joke of ankama. If Ankama over-compensated, markets would inflate due to the vast and sudden spring of drops due to PP candy, and the game would eventually die because everyone is suddenly leveling to 200 in 4 days, versus the current week. The option for 20 Eni Powders is NOT a joke, its quite handy to save 20kk, because compare 20 HP of a pet you never feed(which I dont) to 100 extra wisdom for 30 fights. Short of getting 30 souls half the candy is wasted in one dungeon run. Your bitching about everything you've got, and yet you fail to realize, Ankama didnt have to give you jackshit for FIVE HOURS. QQ somewhere else. *Travis |
