New dragoturkeys...ugly or just me?! Is it just me or do the new dragoturkeys look more like dinosaurs?! From what I've seen they are fat and look more like they are waddling than running...although I have only seen them in a YouTube video...

I thought I read somewhere that they're changing them to a version that's extremely similar to the 1.x ones.

I wouldn't mind if the looked more like a dragon. Or more like a turkey.

Or less like a wicked flamingo-chicken hybrid that looks like i hit its face with a stick.

they better change it... i just got on 2.0 beta and they look REALLY bad

They look really, really chunky. Old dragos looked speedy roadrunner and the newer look like getting out of first gear would 'splode a artery.

Mounts look like dinosaurs with a huge fat butt.

All in all I don't like the 5yearold-kiddie-look from 2.0 with all that not matching proportions.
I really have to think twice or triple if i will extend my subscription that runs out in about 26 days.

It trots short distances, and lowers it's head to run. The rider on the other hand stays in the same rigid pose no matter how it moves. Was kind of hoping they'd lean or something. Also, yes..they took the time to give the thing an anus. Attention to detail?

I really don't care about their looks as long as they run fast, but for now they seem to run at the same speed as players.. :/

This seems to be a compromise. I much prefer this to the "new" 2.0, but I think the feet still need some work... they look swollen. Ah, that would explain why they can't run fast, their feet are swollen!

To tell the truth I liked the first version more. Redesigned view somehow doesn't appeal to me.

well who gives a damn about how they look though i think they look cooler

is it just me but I've never even took a good look at a DT of now so ... or mebe that's coz i play i panda and i dont use mounts
but as long as they move quickly its all fine for me

The new dragoturkey are flat out ugly. To me they look like short stumpy chickens that cross-bred with a giraffe. And the offspring got the worst of both worlds.

They turned from thin anorexic chickens into actual dragoturkeys that can carry their rider. For once the head isn't as big as the body anymore, the tail doesn't have that weird extreme kink anymore and their weird feet with that one giant toe turned into stable, nicely detailed bird feet with stylish socks. Those muscular feet have to carry quite some weight, you know.
The rest looks pretty much exactly the same to me. I like em.
Also, they do run faster than how fast you'd go with ordinary speed.

yeah, I liked the saddle idea a LOT, the socks are ok, at least they cover the "swollen" feet and match the saddle.

I like the new DTs more, but the feet need new art, not new size less fat wrinkles or whatever the heck I saw...

Otherwize Congrats on a sweet DT look!

1) The tail has an even weirder kink, gone from pointing up to pointing down.
2) The feet look like dinosaur feet. They shouldn't point down like that, they should be flatter.
3) Yes, the feet are better for carrying weight, but look at those legs! *crack*. They also connect to the body in the wrong spot. The legs need a redesign with anatomy in mind.

The 'look' of the new dragoturkeys seems ok to me, a bit chunky but at least my sadida will not look like he's being unnecessarily cruel trying to break the things (especially with the new lighter/sleeker sadida look - still not sure on that one either).

What really annoys is that they run like machines - the original turkeys stretched out and you felt like you were flying along - these ones pound the floor and the buildings shake as you go past (almost). Can someone at Ankama wireframe an ostrich/emu at full run and body map the new turkeys onto it? You know it makes sense....

I personally love how they look. Give off this dragonesque feel. I don't know, I just like 'em.

but they didnt improve more like went jurassic on us "RAWR"
