Win 7 Question to Win 7 users, I'm just curious if you have ever had any problems Downloading/Patching/Playing Dofus while on Win 7, I might upgrade to win 7 very soon and I just wanted to hear it from those who already have Win 7 and tried/have played Dofus also does it run the same or better than XP?

XP rules. Period.

Although I did hear some rumours that 7 is way better than Vista and that's actually reliable.

The thing is that vista won't work so good on standard pc's.. standart pc's make it fail alot because it doesn't have the required resources to work without a fail..

Windows 7 has worked flawlessly for me. I upgraded from Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate and I am more than satisfied.

One of the great things about Windows 7 is that if you have any issues running a program, Windows 7 has a built-in feature that lets you open a program in several different computability modes (Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Service Pack 2, etc).

Well, there's such thing as XP mode in Win 7, in where legacy devices or software can be compatible.

I play Dofus and Dofus 2.0 on my Win 7 Ultimate Alienware M15, runs smooth, way better than my Vista Laptop.

@Ralfedeh Vista has that to incase you didn't know.

You pretty much need the PC of the gods to get it working well, but if you have that PC of the gods (and you turn off UAC) it's great.

Everyone knows 98SE was the best, though. 8D

Do you mean Windows 7 Ultimate or does Windows 7 Premium have it too?

Windows 7 Home Premium probably (I don't have it yet, I admit) has the same compatibility options as Vista Home Premium does, which sounds like what Ralf is talking about.

7 Ultimate, meanwhile, has what sounds like a proper dedicated XP mode, which is neat.
