Just quit already. As a f2p a gobball set is a luxury. Plus it would take you millions of kamas to train your tailor decently. Besides that, you would only reach lvl 30. That means you can only make useless crap at 60% success rate. Want to keep going?

Yeesh, you people are such downers! The best way to find the tool in Astrub is to go to where the Cracklers are and just say "buying needles and thread." Somebody will have it. Just be prepared to pay anywhere from 5,000 to 15,000 for it. P2p's don't sell it cheap. After that, level it up by doing piwi items. And by the way, at level 30 you can make a gobball headgear! Probably a lot better than paying for one. Good luck!

I've leveled two to 30 as f2p, and it definitely didn't cost me more than maybe 50kk? It took some time, and a long time in Incarnam, farming piwis (for the second tailor). It was a lot longer farming gobblies for the first tailor, when piwi sets didn't exist. |

Dude, he's talkin' about Lv. 1 till Lv. 100? Lv. 30 Tailor is just a weeny little bug that you can easily crush, you can't make any good stuff at all and like he said you'll only have like maybe... 60% succes rate? Is it really worth it?

There is absolutely no point to hunt piwis if you can buy lots of feathers and lvl yourself in no time (while watching TV).
what is really bordering me is what to do with all useless piwi hats(not pinks),cloaks? any ideas? |

Hmm, not true. I hunt piwi feathers to make kama and level my tailor and shoemaker. I do hunt with a lv115 enu though, so its a LOT more efficient than with a sadi. I can gather 200-250 feathers in an hour and there are serious bonuses as well. In the time I'll also drop 8-10 adv rings suitable for sale and enough sesame seed to support my levelling. Added to that is the kamas dropped by the piwi. BTW adv rings sell well, and the better ones can sell for as much as 10kk on Rosal. This may not make as much as some of my other kama schemes, but it sure don't hurt either. BTW Shater the hats for a few runes. Only thing their worth so far as I can tell. Other than that, they can be used to level a very low level magus to lv10 at least. |

PP vs Grinding example: with my current PP last hour i hunt fungi masters I drop Leek Pie, Luigie Mushroom, Carnivorous Staff, Toady. later i did only 2 royal souls and got a gob headgear. tofu dung = 1-4 tofu item drops + soul last room = 2 X 1-4 = 2-8 drops. Crafting vs Grinding example: many things you mage cost much more than originals = easy profit |

BTW Shater the hats for a few runes. Only thing their worth so far as I can tell. Other than that, they can be used to level a very low level magus to lv10 at least. Or feed them to a hungry livi. It stops them complaining, although they don't like piwi gear. Different servers different econemy. Yeah, well, I prefer to save kamas if at all possible. Hence why I kept going out and hunting stuff in preference to buying it. I found bags were very good for the last few levels (that is, to 30) for a tailor, but I had to get someone to hunt the kwak feathers for me. |
