Every player who has ever been subscribed will find an Orb in their inventory, which will allow for the one-time resetting of stats if you so choose. (Visit your Temple to use it). And, yes, Ankama does listen to players (there is now a whole section where you can ask our temporary Community Manager questions, and he has been answering), but "listening" and even "replying" is not the same as "obeying" -DS I realise there's a new section but I fail to see why we're required to post in that section to simply get a response. Simply because an official is responding one exclusive section of the site, it doesn't automatically mean useful discussions and posts are being read and passed on. I'm not asking for any of the changes I or anyone else proposed be implemented or 'obeyed' as you put it, I'm simply highlighting the fact that there's absolutely no indication that people's discussions are being heard. If Ankama want useful and thorough feedback on what they're doing I would have thought they'd be doing their utmost to make it known that they're listening to the feedback. That would encourage more responses and also motivate people to put more time into their arguments. Otherwise people are stuck with the mentality of "well, no-one reads it anyway so why should I bother?". It's not enough to just say 'all your feedback here is being read' or 'we want to involve the players more in the process' when absolutely no changes or acknowledgment of useful feedback was made. Even simple requests to expand on the reasoning for some of the changes and perhaps give players the chance to then provide proper counter-arguments to it (if needed) is being denied. I understand that perhaps there's a translation barrier and these things take longer. But all that says to me is that Ankama don't care enough about the International community to invest in more translators. Which is fine. But they could then have the decency to say it. If Ankama are going to say that they are listening to players then they need to damn well show it. Otherwise no-one will bother to voice their reasoning if they feel it will fall on deaf ears and all that's left will be "this update sucks, I get pwned by everyone" or "Ankama are lame, why can't they just leave everything the same and give us new weapons? I'm quitting!" - type responses. |

It says /temporary./ Giving back the old system of crafting runes for only a short time would probably take more work, and besides, we all know everyone would just stock up like crazies and flood the market, or just hoard things. |

So awesome, my main character, a Sram, has been totally screwed over. Favorite long range attack - now completely worthless.
...and, my merchant character is now 2000 pods overweight all of the sudden after the update because piwi capes, that used to weigh 1pod, now weigh 10 pods each and I can't even enter merchant mode to sell them off. FREAKING GREAT! Seriously - what the hell? |

I think it is awesome that Aggressive Glyph is free squares instead of linear. And the orbs are awesome. I've always needed to reset my Cra. I built her really, really horribly (she was my first char).

Am I the only one who sees something wrong with the new init system? I mean seriously, a lvl 10 sac with gobbling cape should not be able to go before a lvl 80 pure int osa!!!

Besides, all this new HP is gonna benefit the huge damage classes because the fights are gonna last longer and the classes that have to chip away can't do so very well anymore because there's too much to chip away from.

It says /temporary./ Giving back the old system of crafting runes for only a short time would probably take more work, and besides, we all know everyone would just stock up like crazies and flood the market, or just hoard things. QUOTE Smithmagic: temporary return to the old system Since a glitch was found in the new Smithmagic system which allows players to easily craft very powerful items, we temporarily put the old system back in place. As the new smithmagic system needs to be tested more accurately, we will take several weeks to test it through and through before putting it back on line. Thank you for your understanding. THIS IS NOT OLD SYSTEM. Normal runes dont give +2 stats anymore NOW MAGING IS HARDER THAN 1.26 wth?! SEVERAL WEEKS? I need to wait several weeks with maging becouse it is harder than 1.26 ffs This post has been edited by YourCraftsman: 8 Apr 2009, 16:48 |

Oh my god guys don't panic but you can no longer do Fear damage. Rage quits... ... Im so ashamed to be a Sram lol fear i leveled to 5. Which im finding very pointless, whats the point leveling it for the extra range, where you can only use the spell at close?? |
