what is the best class? what is the best class and why?

IMHO, choosing the best class of character for dofus is like trying to tell someone what the best martial art is...you simply can't do it.

Why?

Well, they all have something to offer, they all have some importance...otherwise they wouldn't exist. So basically, every class is the best class, just like every martial art is just as good as the other. It really depends on the person.

I think the best overall (i.e. most balanced and best in the largest variety of situations) is the Sadida. They do good damage from a distance, wipe out all the weaker enemies in a single hit with manifold, can reduce movement points, and can summon all sorts of dolls for tight spots, or just to do some extra damage. They are really good for PvP, soloing monsters, and team battles.

Although, my judgement is somewhat tainted by the fact that I myself use the Sadida class. ;)

In general, its not good to ask such questions (what class is the best/worst/most cowardly/exc.) because disagreements almost always ensue as everyone argues (most commonly to support the class that they themselves use).
