Chance Ecaflip
Has anyone tried a chance dedicated ecaflip. Instead of the usual strength based Eca with Heads or Tails, this Eca would use Bluff. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had success at later levels. Mainly I was thinking chance gear is easy to get and you'd end up with lots of loot.

I've seen the same suggestion with AGI.....the only problem.....both premises used the same exact spell....Bluff. Even for an Eca, that damage would be too inregular. Not to mention.....you lose Eca's best 2 spells - Felintion and AoN. AND....you have NOWHERE to go after Bluff oO The only feasable alternative I've seen to the STR Eca is the INT Eca where you heal a lot and rely on spells like Topkaj or Tongue for damage but that still sells you short in the long run as most of the last spells are STR based. |

Remember, Bluff is a 50/50 spell - half the time it'll be Water, half the time it'll be Air.
Buffing Chance will only help you half the time with that spell. You'll also have to buff Agility to an equal level if you want it to be effective at all. (And since Chance goes 2-for-1 at 20 and Agility goes 2-for-1 at 50, that's not exactly going to be easy). Plus, as LordBaloc said, after Bluff, Ecaflips have no water-elemental spells at all (unless you count Rekop, which does damage in all four elements - but that's a long way away and a risky spell at best). Ecaflips, like Sadidas, really have very few build options when it comes to their stats. (Their skills, yes, but not their stats)
