New Set Idea (kinda) Armored Set
A working Project
The set parts are all done but the weapon, an the set bonus for each part is kinda high. (Part bonuses are Based on the Maximum value of a charateristic, which includes overmaged items an most bonuses are taken strait from Ecaflips Roulette.)
Instead it gives the Alt style bonuses, you know the kind, Heals, Range, Summons, etc. The set I currently finished editing, but the weapon. The Weapon was ment for me alone. The story about how it came to be I'm finished with my idea. But if it does become real, I want to be the 1st to own it, or if its just me only. Then I'd want it exactly as I created it. Overpowered or not.
I finished with all the Alt Bonuses, an decided to give 2 Alts for each part instead of 4 to weaken it, Alts are now fixed to equip parts. (Mage it if you want to lower its ability an raise another, since all parts are based on max value. Though it probably cost you a fortune in Runes.) I also added contitions based on an email I'd gotten. With all the Alt. Bonuses I know, this leaves 1 Undefined Slot which I sort-of inserted a special ability since no one likes the class sets.

Condition 1 - Own Armored Mount
Condition 2 - Non Alligned Character (Bontarian, Brakmarian)

Came up with another Idea too, what if the set parts are only available as sub-gifts? 1 Year Sub. for a part of the set, choosable of course.

Now you can see my Edit. Yeah I got lazy doing it, still doesn't exist... not yet, anyway, I also decided to re-include the weapon, though I'm not sure what to make it as, sword is mostly used by knights... so...

take my advice mate, dont put a weapon in a set, people like to have there own custom weapons

and the random set bonuses is a bit iffy, on paper it might sound interesting but, me personally, would rather have some plain old stats knowing about it

please take this as constructive criticism and not negativity smile.gif

Oh sure, that sounds good to me mate; Besides like all sets, it probably give the HP, an other stat bonuses like any other set when 2 or more are equipped. But cause it doesn't give any fixed set stat, like say... 20 str people would be off about buying it if that char is Intel, Agi, or Chance build. Thats why I Ex'd out those builds.
I also decided to not include a weapon, like the Kwak Set, or other popular sets like Feudala. Strange that there is a Boowolf Axe an not a Moowolf one? It's how I kick around ideas an tweek things. The story I am workin on is about a tragedy that happens, an how the set comes to be. That an the set IS done being drawn so you can actually see the set parts. (though I got lazy drawing some of it.)

1st of all I should re-phrase how I said that the 1st 4 stats are all the same, an the next 4 are random? (or should I penalize an lower it to just 2.) What I meant was that the 1st 4 stats for boots, belt, ring, amu, hat, cape are all the same for them, (based on overmaging) but each other part has 4 other alt style stats on them. Maybe an example might help. Like I mentioned, the 1st 4 stats are all the same for each part of the set, no matter what part you might want to buy.
(This is not the actual stat bonus I decided to give the parts, but an example.)
Undefined Hat / Undefined Boots / Undefined Amulet
HP +400 / HP +400 / HP +400
Init +400 / Init +400 / Init +400
Wis +100 / Wis +100 / Wis +100
PP +40 / PP +40 / PP +40
C.H. +?? / Traps +?? / Smns +??
Range+?? / Dmg +?? / Heals +??

so its technically possible to just keep taking them off and re-equipping until you get the ones you like?

i can see people just going +CH and +range or damage

That's not quite what I meant, but all the parts give their own alt stat bonuses, the hat may give just CH & range as an alt bonus, where as you have to get the amu, or boots for a Damage+ an Trap bonus? But why wear just the hat for its Alt bonuses, when even a High lvl player would sacrifice alot of other stats from a Kimbo Wig / or Fungus Hat just for a C.H. boost?
Each part is designed as a sort-of missing fill in for other not so useful equips, like this I was shown by a few High lvl Cras/Iops. Gelano with 1 to C.H. I mean, why use a gelano +1ap/+1 C.H. when you can use another ring with a +5/+9 C.H. on both arms? that 1 ap really that important to you?

Yes, you can see it for yourselves now.. but no # is given to the Alt Style Bonuses... since crafting equips is totally Random

Dont bother making up these ideas none of them will get implemented, especially at this stage. Ofc Ankama would make single players the overpowered set they themselves designed.

Yeah I know Ankama sux.. always French players 1st, just like how Japan do their players 1st before the americas, or anyone else gets to play any game of any kind. Isn't that a form of racisim also?
