Hi everyone.

It is true, Kwismas Island cannot be released this year. Even delaying 2.0 until after Christmas would not allow the island to be released at this point. Due to changes in the AI system this past year, the Kwismas monsters are not up to date and because several of them do some very tricky things, they need a substantial investment of time and coding to prevent bugs, crashes, and major problems before they can come out again.

I know this is very disappointing news, and I'm sorry that nothing more can be done about it at this point to bring Kwismas Island back one more time before 2.0 makes its big entrance. =/

This doesn't mean that you'll be without anything new to do during Christmas. Over the next few weeks, we'll be wrapping up and delivering some holiday surprises that have never been seen on the International/UK servers before! Check back often for more news.

Don't suppose the option to change ones forum name once every 60 days would be an option here...

Apologies, but because forum names are linked to DOFUS account names, this is not possible for technical reasons.

In the current issue of the Devblog, LaeTux introduced you to the new positioning system for the begining of battles, and the different forums these starting cells can take.

Read the devblog article here: http://devblog.dofus.com/en/posts/35-posit...ing-battle.html

We'd like to offer you the chance to participate in creating some of the different forms that these starting cells can take.

We need shapes made up of 24 cells with or without the placement of different teams. You can send your design to us in two ways:
- A drawing in MS paint with 12 red and 12 blue squares;
- An ascii art drawing with 1 for the first team of 12, 2 for the second team of 12 and zeros to make up a rectangular shape .

In this thread, you can have fun creating your own drawings for battle starting systems, so show us your ideas. Cell configurations posted by November 20th have a chance to be added into 2.0 if the developers like them!

Ankama would like to thank everyone who has participated in the GateCrashers project so far. The traffic statistics have helped the developers a lot, and your opinions are really needed (yes, even opinions on things you don't like)! If more sessions are announced, I hope you'll all join in again and keep letting us know what you think.

It's more of a matter of clarity, and convenience then. I'm sure most people (who play Dofus) know DUT is GMT+1, but I think the most immediate reaction from newcomers is "There's a real timezone called DUT?"

I've already asked the web team about the clock and they say it can be added to the website, but it will be a month or two before it can be done. If anyone thought I was arguing that a clock wasn't needed, that wasn't my intent. =)

I don't like what you have done to the fourms to keep them organised but I suppose I will live.

Mind if I ask what you don't like? Maybe we can come to a compromise?

We've been changing the International forums this week to make them easier for everyone to use by creating forums for each International server. Should we do the same thing with the Character Class forums?

Vote to show us your opinions and post your thoughts too!

DUT is equal to GMT+1, it's the same for all Dofus servers. You can set the forum to display time in DUT (aka GMT+1) in your Board Settings.

At the top of the forum is Your Name in green. Next to your name is My Settings. Click that, then click "My Controls." "Board Settings" is in the column on the left side of the screen and the time zone menu is at the top when you click. At the moment, it works best to have Daylight Savings Time turned off.

How recently? The beta 2.0 information is based off of a save taken about a month ago.

In order to make it easier to find players from your world, we've added new Server Forums! You can use these forums to recruit for your guilds, buy and sell items, and meeting friends to party with!

General Discussions will still be here so we can all talk about issues and questions that concern the whole game. The Guilds and Trade forums will be moved to our Archive of History until all the most recent threads in those sections can be moved to their new home on Rushu, Rosal, or Solar. Anyone who doesn't want to wait for their old thread to be moved is invited to re-create their thread in the proper server forum. =)

We've also added a brand new Fan Art forum! Ankama loves fan artists, and we've got some incredible talent in this community. Show off your DOFUS drawings, music, sculpture, animations, papercraft... anything is possible as long as it's DOFUS related!

Some of our other forums are being moved to different categories that are more descriptive for greater ease of use. Let me know what you think about the changes, I'm all ears!

I'm liking the ideas you've all posted! I'm trying to work out an agreement with lichen about posting here on the English forums. He's a very busy dev with 2.0 coming out and hasn't even had time to post opinions on the French forums for about a month.

If this can happen at all - which I'm not promising it will - I hope you'll all be aware that it will be a very rare and special treat. Lichen does not usually post on communities outside of the French community, even though all of our DOFUS communities have great ideas that the developers love! Most of the developers speak little to no English or German or Spanish or Portuguese, or Italian, or any of the other many languages that DOFUS has been translated into. For them to take the time to learn them all and respond to each community individually, no player idea could ever make it into the game again!

This doesn't mean that your ideas aren't being heard by anyone at all! A big part of my job as your CCM is to bring your amazing ideas and opinions to the developers (an job that I love to do)! I'll do all that I can to give you back responses that I get to your ideas as long as our players keep what I'm about to say next in mind.

Many wonderful ideas that have been posted on this forum have made their way into the game, but it's often many months or even years after the original suggestion was made and not always exactly the way that the player who suggested it envisioned so there's a big gap between the suggestion and the developers' response.

One of the long-time favorite player suggestions "make it possible to change colors/names" will be part of the upcoming Ogrine services that Ankama is releasing. This was first suggested five years ago, but soon it'll finally be possible! Even if an idea isn't added to the game right away or given a specific response from a dev, that doesn't mean the developers dislike it or didn't hear it. Sometimes it takes a long while before the developers have a specific response to an idea!

I've written up a report with all your forum thoughts that I couldn't add to the forums on my own. With any luck we should see some of them appearing in the next few months. =)
