Dofus Professions Calculator In the interests of increasing not only the fun players have, but the productivity of their professions, Brakmarian Rose is proud to present the Dofus Profession Calculator: a fully functional, and entirely free, program written by one of our own members, Animarum (yes, me). This program is set to calculate how many crafts you'll need to reach the next milestone in your profession (levels 10, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100), and will further tell you what the full quantity of materials for that number of crafts is when you provide it a given recipe.

Once the download link is posted, please read the README file to help answer basic questions on using the calculator. For any other questions, use this thread or contact me on IRC.

If I did not want to try and get the community involved, I'd have not created this post or offered such a contest.

As for the recipes, they need to be formated exactly as the example shows, INCLUDING the lines for unused slots.

Please excuse my curiosity - but how many handwritten recipes, well formed and without types, do you expect to receive here? Maybe I have a quirky understanding of fun, but typing endless monotonous lists for you isn't something where I personally like to spend my time on.
However. I did not meant to spoil your contest, I just doubt that you will get mentionable response. A machine generated list is the best - and probably the only thing - you can get. Take it or leave it, pal.

Link added to main post for downloading the calculator. The calculator should have all of the harvesting profession recipes added by the end of next week hopefully. Life is, however, being temperamental as always, so I dont know how much I can get done.

10/23/2012: Updated download link for newest version. Fixed an issue with professions not properly displaying that 4 & 5 slot recipes were available for certain level ranges. 1 slot recipes still displayed longer than they should be for those levels, however this is not a problematic issue and will be taken care of in the next version update.

Update 11/3/2012
Program's nearing final completion. All that's left to do is to finish programming the remaining professions with the ability to print the results to a file within the folder so that users can keep track of what they need to craft without having to repeatedly run the program. I do apologize to harvester professions as I've still not had time to add in the harvesting side for you. That will be the next thing that will be released, and hopefully I can get it done quickly enough it will only be a single release.

Still trying to get a sticky too.

You did an awesome job, I am actually using it for the remaining professions I have yet to level ^^

Screenshots added to first post, will be adding a readme transcript as well. The current version now has the printing functionality, and the harvesting function is next. Final step is to integrate Discarder's Professions' guide as well.

Final version's been compiled and uploaded. Finishing touches are to finalize the color theme and add the professions' guide. Both are low-priority, so dont know exact timeframe as to when it'll be done, but expect it to be announced here.

Digitized has added two additional themes to the calculator, as well as the ability to switch between the themes. Please download the newest version at the Brakmarianrose.com website.

Additionally, suggestions for more color themes are welcomed. There are 14 different colors used in each theme, and need to be in HTML code format (6 digits long.) A "color chart" with the various color codes can be found at Click here Please bear in mind that the colors chosen should be those that you can read black text on. Post them here, and you may see your theme selected in one of the next updates! ^^

My apologies to those that tried downloading the most recent version. A small typo in the link was causing it to not work, and that error has been fixed. You can now download the calculator without any worries.

Version 1.10 will be available in roughly 15-20 minutes now. Changes in this version:

• Players can view Crafts/level & Xp/slot charts by going to Help>Charts
• Incorporated Discarder's Guides for all 22 professions, with the exclusion of the magus professions, they can be found under the Guide menu option
