And wher is old servers ??? ( I play on Rush and ther is all my chars....

I would like to play on the server Zathoiswan with my dofus wife from Austria. We've been playing together for ages now and we've had plans to start all over on a new server since the beginning.

However, I can't seem to log into the Zathoiswan server; I can only create a character on the new Dutch/Italian server, Aermyne. My "wife" on the other hand can only register on one of the new German speaking servers.

Why is that? Can't we play on an international server? I really want to start over again with my old time international friends

im playing on the international server rosal now ... and i want to test 2.0 together with a friend

i tried to logg in on 2.0 international servers but it seems that the only one i can logg in to is the german server "katar" .. my friend can only use dutch server .. so why cant we both logg in to internationals?

It also looks like the foums have gotten 2.0 graphics

The Mac version isn't working for me - the installer doesn't finish.
The error I get is - "The following installation step failed : run postupgrade script for Dofus"

Yes, I have. When I try to select Zathoiswan it gives a notice: can't log into the server because it is reserved for a specific player community or subscribed players (of which I am one).

I'm really rooting for it to be fixed, else it will be no new server for me

Congratulations to the Ankama team, sadly you guys have gotten alot of bad feedback about this.
But I love the update, even with its small problems, I still enjoy playing dofus just the same

Good luck on updating the game to have as little bugs as possible!

whenever i install it and click on the dofus icon it just dosnt respond.

MAC version not working for me at all. It says INSTALLATION SUCCESSFUL but when i open the client... NOTHING... NADA... ZILCH happens. I never had a problem with the ZIP folder (dofus.html) with 1.29! PLEASE HELP!

Izmar is there anyway to get a dl to the Zip folder today?????? Desperate to start asap! I have subbed and im ready to rumble. I just cant open the damn client.

I've placed a note here, on the facebook page, and sent in a ticket. Hopefully they send us a link for the Zip file asap!!! I have a funny feeling the mac client only works on Leopard up and I'm not about to go and upgrade my OS just for one game when I know the ZIP folder worked fine on all OS.

Sigh. I was so looking forward to it!

If you right or ctrl click on the icon then select show package contents, then find the swf thing, you might be able to get a bit further. Also check if you have adobe air. Seems to work for some people. Just not me, unfortunately

Has ANYONE got the MAC version to work?

The link to the zip file suggests it's an .exe file which won;t work on the mac os anyhow.

I'd plead with the mods, or anyone else to give us a step-by-step definitive answer of how to get the mac version to work. There are surely enough of us to warrant a reply if there are enough to have tried to make a mac version...

Don't have 1.29 because I was playing 2.0 Beta instead.
Can't reinstall Dofus 1.29 because there's nowhere to download it.
Dofus 2.0 lets me login.
Dofus 2.0 only shows 2.0 servers (so I can't delete any of my characters to free a space).
Dofus 2.0 refuses to let me log on to any of those servers (even via an empty account, it gives a short beep then the "validate" button greys out).

i.e. I can't play any version of Dofus.

Windows version, on XP.

i checked "show all servers"

cant logg in on international zatoishwan .. only on a german one .. my friends have the same problem .. so we cant play on one server together bc we are not in the same country? ... pls fix the log-in problem of the internationals

i dont like the way they done this... i want to play with my old characters on the new dofus now lol not later i waited like a year for this update now you wont let me play it properly on the characters i want to play it on thats just unfair and im am quite dissapointed that ankama would even think to do that why on earth cant i pklay my sram on dofus 2.0 it just sucks i cant even be bothered to play now thank very much ankama... !!!!!!!

I can log on, but then the part where the servers usually shows up.. never shows up. It's just a screen with my nickname and subscription and w/e.

Thanks for the birthday gift XD but just like in the beta. It updates I press play annnnd... It crashes no error screen or anything... *sigh* I thought the full version would be different.

My mac version is not installing correctly. It never does so successfully telling me:

Install Failed
The following install step failed: run postinstall script for Dofus. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

Happened to me the same, but I could Download 1.29.
Go to download page, then click in : Old Players? Download Dofus 1.29.
Hope that it works.

is there a way to change your community? Because i got 2 characters (one is French community and the other one international) and i want to play with both of them on a new server but the first only can play on the 2 French servers and the second only on international servers =(
And it doesnt matter wich community i want them to be in (i speak dutch , english and french ^^)

I would have thought to try that but... everything is in french and I haven't figured out how to put it in english... x.x

When will the other servers be in the 2.0 version/update? Found only 2 Int servers and the rest is French servers...

be happy you can play 2.0 and if you want you can still play 1.29

I am so disappointed that the mac version still does not work. Ankama did promise that by the launch time this issue will not arise, its all just an empty promise. This very same issue has been raised so many times by the customers (read: players/us) during closed and open beta period and still no action at all. Yet, Izmar has not even spoken a word about it, nor ankama as a company. So Izmar, please say something.

Launch the 2.0 launcher and then click on the flag in the upper right

For the mac version when it says "The following installation step failed : run postupgrade script for Dofus" you should try downloading and installing the most recent version of adobe air. That fixed it for me...hope it helps

Theres still that issue with the downloading? With the "play" button and that? Theres a fix somewhere but I cant remember where, I know what it is though. I dont know if its only for windows though. ( Just ask me If you want to know)

Yah, I'm on a Mac and the installer fails everytime. I have the most recent version of air and I'm running Snow Leopard.

It sounds really silly But when I tried this it actually worked. You have to create a folder called Dofus 2.0 in your hard drive. Then you download all of your dofus 2 into that dofus 2.0 folder ( It might like this: Dofus 2.0/ Dofus 2 ) and then everything should download and work fine. It did so for me hope it helps
