Monster Mash Weekend!

Monster Mash Weekend! You voted! Now it's time to HUNT! Amakna will be full of Trools, Boowolves, and Jellies from now until 7:30 AM (GMT+1) on Tueday morning!

It's a server-wide invitation to PARTY!

We ran two polls, one here on Dofus.com, and one on our Official Facebook Page to ask YOU which of the three suggested monsters you wanted to hunt. While our Dofus.com poll said Jellies, Facebook said they wanted Boos and Trools. So we're giving you BOTH! It's a double-feature creature weekend!

 

It's also an occassion for the entire EN community to come together and hunt some awesome monsters for everyone's benefit! So while you're out there in Amakna this weekend, invite someone you don't know yet to join your group, help a newbie get a level, or just say "hi" to the other people you run into. There'll be plenty of monsters for everyone, it's ok to relax and share!

 

These monsters will be spawning in and around Amakna on Rushu, Rosal, Shika, Solar, Zatoishwan and Dark Vlad until the maintenance hits at about 7:30 AM on Tueday morning. Watch out, because we couldn't get the Trools to aggree to a pact of non-aggression for the weekend, they will attack if you get too close. If you can skirt around those big uglies, the Jellies and the Boowolves will let you get by in peace.

 

We hope you enjoy this event. If everyone likes it, we'll bring it back next month with some different monsters for you to choose from! If you have any suggestions for a monster you'd like to see in the polls, tell us!

i dont understand.. these monsters spawn normally so whats this event about? did i miss something?

They're spawning in larger-than-usual numbers in a central location. (Also, Boowolves and Trools are often replaced by Chafers during invasions, while these Boowolves and Trools won't and can't be)

i like it if they keep changing the mosnters and add new ones evry week or month at last it will be a lot easyer than hundiong them down or try to find them maybe archomonsters one day will be good

The boowolfs and trools I understand, but why Jelly's? They don't seem to be any different than the mobs already plentiful in the jelly peninsula. Do they have better drop rates or anything?

Per the news post, the players of Dofus voted for what type of monster they wanted to be spawned this weekend, and they were tied for victory along with the Eltneg monsters =)

Sounds like this would be a good excuse for those of you that wish to try a new server out, to get some XP and or wealth accumulated!

...as long as this lasts long enough for those of you to be satisfied..., hehe.
