Sicherheitsanweisungen für Dofus-Accounts, Passwörter, Email-Adressen, IRC, Foren usw. Ich versuche derzeit, mir wichtig erscheinende Beiträge aus dem französischen (und englischen) Forum auch für das deutsche Forum zugänglich zu machen. Es handelt sich hierbei also um eine Ãœbersetzung von existierenden Beiträgen. Ich werde am Ende der Ãœbersetzung auch immer die Quelle mit angeben.


Sicherheitsanweisungen
Aufgrund einer starken Zunahme der Diebstähle oder "Hacking" von Accounts, möchte Ankama Studio an dieser Stelle noch einmal gewisse Prinzipien und Sicherheitsanweisungen erläutern, deren Befolgung die Sicherheit eures Accounts (mit Ausnahme echter Profihacker) garantieren kann.
Das Nicht-Einhalten dieser Sicherheitsanweisungen kann zu Strafmaßnahmen auf eurem (oder euren) Dofus-Account(s) führen, wenn ihr beim Diebstahl eines Gegenstandes oder des ganzen Accountes eine Beschwerde beim Support einreicht. Also sind diese zu lesen und zu befolgen.


Euer Account:

• Wählt bei der Erstellung des Benutzerkontos (Accounts) eine zuverlässige Email-Adresse (siehe weiter unten).

Zu beachten bei der Auswahl eines Passwortes für euren Dofus-Account:

• Wählt ein einzigartiges, komplexes Passwort aus, welches nur ihr kennt.
• Wählt ein Passwort, welches ihr ausschließlich für Dofus verwendet.
• Verwendet mindestens 8 Zeichen für euer Passwort.
• Verwendet ein Passwort, welches SOWOHL Groß- und Kleinbuchstaben enthält und nicht nur zum Wortanfang. Nutzt Groß-und Kleinbuchstaben im Wechsel.
• Benutzt keine Alphanumerischen Zeichenketten für das Passwort, die Satzzeichen enthalten (sogenannte Interpunktionen, wie z.B. !,$,#,%,.,?). Diese Zeichen werden nicht unterstützt.
• Benutzt eine scheinbar zufällige Folge aus Buchstaben und Nummern.

• Verwendet niemals ein rückwärts geschriebenes Wort als Passwort.
• Verwendet niemals euren Benutzernamen als Passwort.
• Verwendet weder euren eigenen Vornamen, noch den einer anderen Person in welcher Form auch immer. Vermeidet ebenfalls eure eigenen Initialen, die eures Nicknames oder die einer anderen Person.
• Vermeidet Wörter, die in englischen oder anderssprachigen Wörterbüchern vorkommen, sowie Abkürzungen und gänge Ausdrücke (z.b. Chatsprache).
• Vermeidet beim Erstellen des Passwortes die Benutzung aller leicht herausfindbaren Informationen zu eurer Person. Wie z.B. Namen eurer Haustiere, euer Nummernschild, eure Telefonnummer, die Automarke, den Straßennamen, etc... Diese Art von Passwort kann leicht erraten werden von allen Personen, die euch näher kennen.
• Benutzt weder ein Passwort, welches ausschließlich aus Zahlen besteht, noch eines ausschließlich aus Buchstaben.
• Gebraucht kein Datum in eurem Passwort (vermeidet unbedingt euer Geburtsdatum zum Beispiel).
• Gebraucht auch nicht bestimmte Tastatursequenzen, z.b. "azerty", "qwerty" oder "aqwxsz"
• Gebraucht niemals ein Passwort, welches als Beispiel zitiert wurde!

Die Sicherheit eures Passwortes läßt sich über diese Internetadresse herausfinden: http://alaide.com/outils_testmotdepasse.php und notfalls anschließend verbessern.

Gebt NIEMALS euer Passwort weiter (im Spiel selbst, auf dem Forum, IRC oder per Email), selbst wenn euch ein Admin, ein Moderator oder ein angeblicher "Hacker" danach fragt. Wenn die Person darauf beharrt, dann nehmt einen Screenshot und sendet diesen an den Support weiter. Wir werden dann entsprechende Maßnahmen ergreifen.

• Kein Mitglied von Ankama-Games wird euch in egal welcher Art nach euren Accountdaten befragen.
• Euer Account ist streng persönlich. Gebt diesen niemals an andere Nutzer weitere, auch nicht an Freunde oder Verwandte.

Eure Email-Adresse:
Zu beachten bei der Auswahl eines Passwortes für eure Email-Adresse:

• Wählt ein einzigartiges, komplexes Passwort aus, welches nur ihr kennt.
• Wählt ein Passwort, welches ihr ausschließlich für diese Email-Adresse verwendet.
• Verwendet mindestens 8 Zeichen für euer Passwort.
• Verwendet ein Passwort, welches SOWOHL Groß- und Kleinbuchstaben enthält und nicht nur zum Wortanfang. Nutzt Groß-und Kleinbuchstaben im Wechsel.

• Verwendet niemals die Email-Adresse für die Registrierung bei Dofus, die ihr bereits bei einem Instant Messenger, IRC oder Chatprogramm verwendet habt. (Das gilt insbesondere für MSN Messenger)

• Vermeidet Emailprovider, bei denen das Passwort leicht durch die Beantwortung einer vom Nutzer ausgesuchten Geheimfrage zurückerhalten werden kann. (wie z.B. Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo, etc...).

• Wenn es eine Prozedur gibt, mittels derer sich das Passwort zurückgewinnen läßt, z.B. mit Hilfe einer Geheimfrage, dann nehmt euch die Zeit eine Frage auszudenken, auf die nur ihr selbst die Antwort wissen könnt. Die anderen Familienmitglieder und auch eure engsten Freunde sollten die Antwort nicht erraten können. Denn viele Personen können sich sonst über diesen Weg Zugang zum Passwort und damit direkt zu eurem Email-Account verschaffen, sobald sie erst einmal die Adresse wissen. Die beste Methode, um sich dagegen zu schützen, ist bei der Geheimfrage eine dermaßen unlogische Antwort zu wählen, dass nur ihr selbst in der Lage seid, den Denkweg nachzuvollziehen.

• Gebt niemals eure Email-Adresse oder gar eure IRL-Adresse an andere Spieler weiter. Nutzt ausschließlich die Kommunikationswege im Spiel selbst und auf den IRC-Channels von Dofus.

Der IRC-Channel von Dofus (Server: irc.jeux.fr , channel: #dofus und #dofus-world

• Gebt auch auf dem IRC niemals eure IM-Daten, Email-Adresse oder Dofus-Accountdaten an andere weiter.
• Kein wirklicher Admin/Mod wird euch per Irc über eure Dofus-Accountdaten befragen! Wenn, sind es Betrüger!
• Nehmt keine Dateien an, die euch über das IRC zugesandt werden (DCC etc.)

Euer Computer:

• Denkt daran regelmäßig euer Betriebssystem auf dem neuesten Stand zu bringen (z.B. falls ihr Windows verwendet, dann geht auf folgende Webseite: http://update.microsoft.com und ladet alle notwendigen Patches und Updates herunter. Tut dies regelmäßig, falls keine Autoupdate-Funktion auf eurem Rechner installiert sein sollte.
• Installiert eine aktuelle Antivirus und Antispyware-Software. Auf folgender Webseite gibt es eine gute Auswahl kostenloser Antivirus- und Antispyware-Software: http://secuser.com/telechargement/index.htm.
• Wenn möglich, installiert eine Firewall auf eurem Rechner. Vergesst dabei allerdings nicht, den Port 5555 für ausgehende Verbindungen zu öffnen, der für das Spiel Dofus notwendig ist. Ihr könnt mehrere kostenlose Firewall-Programme zur freien Verfügung auf der Webseite: http://secuser.com/telechargement/index.htm finden. Wenn ihr ein Firewall-Programm verwendet, dann denkt daran alle Anfragen zum Zugang zu Dofus zu aktivieren, damit der Filter automatisch eingerichtet werden kann.
• Speichert in keinem Fall auf eurem Rechner die Emails mit euren Zugangsinformationen (denkt also immer daran alle Emails mit derartigen Angaben sofort zu löschen, sobald ihr die Informationen darin sicher beherrscht).
• Speichert in keinem Fall auf eurem Rechner die Passwörter oder Zugangsinformationen (z.B. in einer Textdatei).
• Lasst niemals eure LogIn-Informationen von Personen eures Umfeldes einsehen (z.B. auf einem Blatt Papier z.B. etc).

Eure Browsereingaben:

• Gebt niemals euer Dofus-Passwort auf anderen Webseiten als auf *.dofus.com oder *.dofus.fr ein. Wenn euch eine Webseite ein Mittel zur Verfügung stellen sollte Kamas, Gegenstände oder andere Vorteile in Dofus zu erhalten, dann benachrichtigt uns bitte über den Support unter: http://support.dofus.com.
• Verwendet nicht euer Dofus-Passwort als Passwort auf anderen Webseiten, insbesonders nicht auf Foren oder Homepages anderer Spieler.

Wir empfehlen euch die Webseite http://secuser.com, die viele aktuelle Informationen und Links zu Antivirus-, Antispyware-, Firewall- und sonstigen Sicherheitstechnischen Programmen beeinhaltet.

Prozedur, die zu befolgen ist, wenn Zweifel über die Sicherheit bestehen, oder Probleme auftreten (Diebstahl von Gegenständen oder Log-In-Informationen z.B.):

• Ändert sofort das Passwort eures Email-Accounts ab (es ist unnötig gleich die Email-Adresse zu ändern, sondern wichtiger das Sicherheitsloch (im Allgemeinen das Passwort) der aktuellen Email-Adresse zu stopfen.
• Kontaktiert den Support von Dofus (http://support.dofus.com) und schildert dort euer Problem möglichst präzise unter genauer Angabe der Uhrzeit und des Datums, wann ihr den Vorfall festgestellt habt und welche Gegenstände verlorengegangen sind/Auswirkungen es gab.
• Nutzt in keinem Fall eines der Foren (auch nicht die offiziellen) um solche Vorkommnisse zu melden.
• In den meisten Fällen werden gestohlene Gegenstände oder gelöschte Charaktere nicht rückerstattet. Es obliegt dem Nutzer sich um die Sicherheit seines Dofus-Accountes und seines Email-Postfaches zu kümmern.
• Dennoch seid ihr eingeladen uns im Falle von Problemen zu kontaktieren, damit wir den Schuldigen ausfindig machen und zur Verantwortung ziehen können .
• Wir sind in der Lage, Personen, die versuchen Gegenstände mittels falschen Diebstahlsbeschwerden zu erhalten, ausfindig zu machen. In solchen Fällen werden alle Accounts der entsprechenden Person ohne Vorwarnung definitiv gebannt!
• Wir raten euch immer ehrlich zu sein, wenn ihr euch an den Support von Dofus wendet. Wenn ihr beispielsweise im Falle eines Problemes nicht zugebt, euren Account einem anderem Spieler "geliehen" zu haben und wir dies herausfinden, dann werden ebenfalls all eure Dofus-Accounts ohne Vorwarnung definitiv gebannt!

Zur Email-Adresse:

• Wenn ihr dennoch die Email-Adresse ändern wollt, so müsst ihr dafür Kontakt mit dem Support aufnehmen http://support.dofus.com und uns darüber folgende Angaben zukommen lassen: Namen, Vornamen, Geburtsdatum, Heimatland, alte Email-Adresse, neue Email-Adresse, sowie das genaue Datum der Bezahlung eures Abonnements und die Zahlungsmethode (dazu könnt ihr euch auf eure Telefonrechnung oder Kontoauszüge stützen).

Wenn ihr all diese Sicherheitsanweisungen befolgt, dann gibt es keine Gefahr, dass euer Dofus-Account gestohlen oder "gehackt" wird.

Bemerkung über Internet-Cafés
Wir möchten euch noch einmal daran erinnern, dass die Sicherheitsanweisungen auch für die Computer in Internet-Cafés gelten, wie auch für jeden anderen Ort von dem aus ihr euch in Dofus einwählt.

Zögert nicht die Sicherheit der Rechner in den Internet-Cafés überprüfen zu lassen. Nicht selten sind dort u.a. "keylogger" (Programme, die sämtliche Tasteneingaben in einer Datei speichern, u.a. also auch eure Passwörter etc.) installiert, die dadurch bestimmten Personen mit bösen Absichten neben Passwörtern und Bankdaten auch eure Dofus-Accountinformationen liefern könnten.


Bemerkung über die vielen nicht-offiziellen Foren
Wir raten euch zu großer Vorsicht beim Betreten von nicht-offiziellen Foren. Ihr habt dort nämlich keine Garantie, was die Sicherheit und Echtheit der kursierenden Daten und Informationen angeht.
Dies gilt besonders für die Foren der verschiedenen Gilden, die bereits die Quelle von vielen Problemen, wie z.B. Diebstählen von Accounts, Gegenständen oder Kamas waren. Nutzt grundsätzlich bei der Anmeldung auf diesen Foren niemals die selben Log-In-Daten wie im Spiel. Verwendet dafür ebenfalls eine andere Email-Adresse als diejenige, welche ihr bereits bei der Anmeldung zu Dofus angegeben habt.
Die Personen, die diese Foren betreuen, haben im Allgemeinen nämlich Zugriff auf alle bei der Anmeldung angegeben Daten.

Cons:
Be extremely careful! More and more unscrupulous players try to abuse othersâ?? naivety to steal their goods, proposing services that do NOT exist or exceptional offers. In case of a con or a theft, be warned that there are no appeal possible. You are the only responsible. Thatâ??s why you must respect and follow these safety instructions.


Websites and blogs:
Please note that there are NO codes in Dofus and it is therefore impossible to get items, Kamas or levels through ANY websites thanks to a so-called code. All these websites and blogs are created to steal your accounts, asking you at some stage your connection details. Once again, this goes together with account lending which is categorically forbidden by the rules of Dofus.
Whatever the creators of these websites may say, we say it again: there are NO codes or rifts in the system allowing you to get items.
If the website really looks like the official Dofus website, try to spot some unfailing details such as the address of the website which must be http://www1.dofus.com/community/... or http://www.ankama-games.com/... and nothing else.


Identity usurpers:
A moderator, a GM (Game Master) or a developer contacts you? Force him to send you a red message or even to teleport you in a secured area. If he refuses, whatever his excuses may be, ignore and report him to the technical support, enclosing a screenshot of his name and his words.
Please keep in mind that a member of the leading team (Mods, GM) or of the Studio will NEVER ask for your details!
For this matter, only trust the technical support.

All the same, we will never contact you in the game to propose you a moderator position neither send you towards a website or a chat link. We have a serious procedure to recruit our moderators and Game Masters with our own tools and we would never proceed this way.


Exchanging, lending or selling accounts:
As mentioned in the rules, those three actions are forbidden. Despite this warning, may you decide to make one of these actions (either in game or on another third sale and auction website), then be aware that this will be at your own risk and you wonâ??t be entitled to have any support. Therefore it is completely useless to register a complaint against so-and-so who has done you. This is your responsibility.


Micropayment codes:
Just like for accounts, it is strictly forbidden to sell micropayment codes in-game. Despite this warning, may you decide to sell or buy codes, there will be no appeal possible if you are done.


Buying houses, guilds and various exchanges:
Once again, be careful! Houses can only be sold via the provided interface which means that the owner sets a sale price for his house and when you click on the front door of the latter, you can buy it at the price shown. If a player offers you make an exchange or asks you Kamas elsewhere than on this interface, it is, once again, at your own risk!!
All the same, there are no interface where you can sell or buy guilds. All guild transactions are therefore managed by players and are most of the time con sources. We highly recommend you not to buy or exchange guild.
No matter the situation, when an offer seems to you to be dishonest, turn it down before you get caught in a lot of problems you wonâ??t get any support forâ?¦


Craft cons:
Soon, a new secured craft interface will be set up. But waiting for this interface, we can only advise you to be extremely careful. To make sure a craftsman is honest, just ask him to craft the item before your eyes.
If you happen to be a craft con victim, the Technical Support wonâ??t be able to help you!


Moderators:
They are here to help you, to inform you but also to sort out problems. They have strict instructions to follow so it is useless to flood them with complaints. The only solution if youâ??ve been abusively penalized: address the Technical Support.
For instance, they can put you on mute or even kick a player out if he misbehaves, insults or abuses. These sanctions depend on the importance of the action: they can be a simple direct kick with no time length to several days of kick.
They also moderate the alignment channel on which, we wish to remind you, off-topics are to be banished. At every off-topic posted youâ??ll get a warning and in the event of a repetition of the offense, your rights to communicate on the channel can be cut off for a week.
Moreover, they canâ??t give you any information about possible recruitments or technical aspects. Therefore, it is pointless to flood them about these subjects.


Third Party Programs:
As stated in the Terms of Service of Dofus, we punish players using "bots" or any program to play. The Ankama Team reminds players using these programs, that they risk a definitive bannishment from the game. We do not accept the use of these programs, which are a nuisance to the game's conviviality, its economy, its coherence, and to the efficiency of our game servers.

Swindles and thefts
Due to a huge growth of In Game swindles, mostly due to players lack of precaution, we now do not manage these cases anymore.

If your best friend doesn't want to give you back your wonderful adventurer set, or if your wife doesn't want to refund the 1632 kamas she owes you, all we can do is remind you that the best way to keep your stuff is to keep it for yourself. This also applies to account lending, this being forbidden by Dofus' Terms and Conditions.

Also, no one from our InGameStaff will ever ask you for your personal infos, items, or offer you any kind of bonus. If someone does this, please report this person to the support as soon as possible, for us to take care of his/her case. Do not post about the scammer on the forums.

To finish with, if you wish to buy a guild, or have found a "super offer" concerning an item (a house sold for 5 000 kamas for example...), you are free to do it, but we can't protect you from yourself. Be reasonable, ask your friends, and make sure you're not being swindled. It is the same concerning crafts : Be sure you're talking with a true craftsman, until the new crafting interface is ready.

You are now warned, and we hope that this will be repeated in game, so that no one gets swindled anymore. We can't afford losing so much time on these cases, as the game's development gets delayed.

I'll give you the reasons to why we're never giving back items :

• Nothing proves us that it was indeed stolen. Why wouldn't it be an agreement between players to get double items ? This case is very frequent.
• We receive loads of complains each day concerning thefts, and basically, they are all due to insufficient care from players. We can't assure any good behavior or fair-play from players.
• This takes us a lot of time for a single object, especially when this one got exchanged, used, or deleted, as some innocent players may have legually obtained one of the items, and we have no right to take them away either. And, we refuse any item duplication.
• Some players see their items deleted, and it would thus be injust to give those we find back to some players, and nothing to other ones. Our policy may seem injust for those last ones, but it is the best one for everyone...
• Finally, our servers are fully secure, and any violation is impossible. Thus, any 'hack' is due to the player's carelessness, for which we can't be held responsible.

You now know why we're not giving back any item...

INTRODUCTION TO SCAMMERS AND HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM:
Every online game has its scammers and its theives. Learning to recognize and deal with them is part of every new players' training. If you find someone who is trying to pull off one of the scams below, please follow these directions:

1. Type /whois scammername
2. Take a screenshot.
3. Host that screenshot on Imageshack or Photobucket (or the image host of your choice)
4. Include that link in a support ticket

NOTE: Sometimes people are completely honest when offering one of the below "deals". However, there is no way to filter the scammers from those players that are legit. If you ever did one of the below trades without a problem - I am happy for you. However I take a "zero sum" approach to the below deals and encourage everyone else to do the same.


Selling Guilds
Fairly often you will see people trying to sell an entire guild (of which they are, in theory, a leader). Not only is this highly unethical to the people still in the guild and you are being stuck with the chosen guild name, but this deal has a high chance of being a scam since there's no way for you to insure that the seller will keep his end of the bargain. Ankama will not help you if you lose money trying to buy a guild and no amount of in-game harassment or posts on Dofus forums will get you your money back.
Conclusion: Unless you have known the person for a substantial amount of time, don't buy already-made guilds from other players.


Selling P2P Accounts
Beware a scam whenever someone is offering to sell an existing p2p account or offering to "upgrade" your account to p2p. Even if a person gives you the correct log-in information for a p2p account, it's extremely easy for them to get their password back (after you change it) using the "forgot password" feature. As such, they will have the money you paid and the account back in no time. In order for your account to be "upgraded" to p2p, that person will need your login and password to access your account. Not only are you paying money upfront (or even half and half) without any guarantee of a return in both cases but in the latter case you have the opportunity of having your OWN account stolen.
Conclusion: Do not purchase existing Dofus accounts nor have anyone "upgrade" your account to p2p.

DofusTools
Our illustrious script kiddeh is back on the prowl with a new page featuring the GhostMouse.exe Trojan Horse Virus. Make no mistake, this executable will help him steal your account instead of letting you "quickly and easily" make tons of kama. No such thing as a free lunch, remember?
Conclusion: If it sounds too good to be true, ("I made 330kk last night!") it probably is.

Trading Dofus Items for Items From Another Game
There is lots of gray area here, both ethical and "legal". Regardless to say, since you have no way of insuring that the trade goes through on both sides of the table, I recommend you stay away from these "offers". You can try the half-and-half approach, but there's nothing stopping the other guy from taking your half and logging off. Sure, he might not have gotten everything, but he got something and left you the sucker.
Conclusion: Unless you would trust the other person with your real-world possessions, don't agree to these kinds of trade.

"Trust me, I'm a Level 100 Crafter."
This "deal" tends to wax and wane from time to time and is definitely represents a gray area. The setup is quite simple. After a player advertises a need for a high-level item to be crafted, he or she is approached by someone promising that they are a level 100 crafter in that category and promising to do the job. However as soon as the materials are handed over the would-be crafter disappears.

Selling a House
Sometimes you'll find people claiming to sell their house. They might want a sum of money, or they might ask for items. They may tell you that they'll page you the code when you give them the cash. They may claim to be your friend. They are lying. The only way to properly buy any house it to click on the front door and select "Buy" from the menu. If you can not select this option, the house is not for sale. Be very careful, these scammers are known to take names smiliar to the names of the real house owners, hoping to trap the unwary.
Conclusion: The house buying menus are there for your protection. Use them!


Honorable Mentions
I. "Please give me #kama to access the bank!"
Most of the time a player simply made a mistake and really would appreciate your help (many are even happy to return the money you give them after opening their vault). Be wary of amounts that seem a bit "too" high (in my opinion, anything 50kama and more) or people asking for "vault money" far away from banks.

II. "I just got hacked and have nothing!"
Times were the community would come together to help the less fortunate amongst us. This phrase, however, has seen an incredible share of abuse in Dofus and other games. If someone you don't know proclaims to have been hacked you are welcome to offer your condolences and maybe a starting item or two - but that's it.

III. "I'm a girl!" or "Wanna cyber?
I am aware that women play online games and many do so very well. A small segment of them, however, likes to exploit the "I'm a girl on the internet" status in trying to score free items. Worse, some men like making female avatars for the express purpose of "flirting" and begging for items. The (thankfully small) trend of female avatars (note, not women... just female avatars) offering cybersex around Zaaps is even more disturbing and degrading to real female players. You are free to ignore any advances made by female avatars unless you yourself feel like giving something away.
